What's your opinion on facial hair?

In my experience:

Sounds right. Frankly, I don't care. I love my long ass sideburns and my lovely goatee. I'm just lucky my girlfriend likes it too. :P

All the idiots around here like just the rough stuble. I personally aint gonna get a goatee until I'm about 30; but I'm only 16 so hey I might change my thoughts before then as I mature more with thinking.

From my expeirence most haven't cared. My girlfriend likes when I shave because I look a few years older when I don't shave. But she doesn't care really except for when its stubble because then obviously it can be itchy/painful on her skin.

im a guy so i guess i shouldnt really be judging, but i think goatees look bad on most people, so i'd never attempt to pull it off. stubble or sideburns is the way to go.

Currently I am sporting long hair, beard and moustache.

Ha, i had a full blown beard at the age of 14. (I'm Persian)

Started pulling chin-straps when i was 15 and i still have them with random goatees at times. I'm 17 now

Here is how I see it, there are 2 choices, and they have to add up to 100%, so, I say 50/50. Either they like it or they don't.

I'm sporting a full beard at the moment, at the ripe age of 17.

I like scruffy beards, or nothing at all. Any goatees/chinstraps/soul patches/moustaches/whatever just look gay too me.

But I prefer a beard to clean shaven.

I used to think this. But then I figured, I want the woman to shave for me right? My gf says that facial hair scrapes her face and hurts. I shave, but I'm keeping the side burns.

If you don't shave, or it takes a while to grow a beard, you look like a bum when it's not a full, thick beard.

Fair trade, you shave if she does.

I'll say that most I've met prefer some stubble/short beard (very short, the scraggly look is nice, apparently), but don't like excessive moustaches or beards. Maybe 15-20% here or so dislike any form of facial hair on a guy. Beard and 'staches and excessive goatees look dirty/unkept on a lot of guys here, mostly because they are. Fail.

My boyfriend type thing just looks like he has dirt on his face if he doesn't shave.

I used to have a goatee, but the only girls that really liked it were the ghetto ones cause they said it made me look like a thug...so I shaved it...

Five o'clock shadow or clean shaven. Over groomed facial hair is retarded. Guys, if you spend more then 10 minutes shaping your mustache you're a tool.

I hate hooking up with a guy with stubble. Just putting that out there.

I have a chinstrap thingy. Sideburns down, around, and up the center of my bottom lip. I likes it. Girlfriend loves it. I shaved it all off last week, and I looked WEEIIIRD.

I was going to grow a lumberjack beard, then I decided I look really fucking wierd with a fullbeard.

Haha I get called an X-men character as well for my sideburns. Exept I get told I look like Saber Tooth cos I have massive blond sideburns that stick out.
