There is this girl I know, we've been good friends for about a year now. She knows that I have depression and she often messages me asking how I'm feeling. She is very cute as well. Only two problems: she hangs around this emo-looking guy, (who is in a relationship), most of the time; and I really doubt she's interested in a relationship. Is there anything I can do?

Just ask her out. Whats the worst that can happen.

Fuck man! she is already asking about your wellbeing she obviously already cares much about you at some level and when you go out together you will know soon enough how far and in what way she does. Just go for it you fool!
