...but I really am at a loss about where to start and even what to do.

I've got some of the the simple changes covered. I'm exercising regularly. I'm sleeping. I'm learning an instrument, hopefully I'll take dance classes pretty soon and I'm becoming more and more satisfied with the way the future looks like it might pan out.

But that doesn't really completely (or even touch upon how to) fix the here and now. I still hate the way I interact with people, how I portray myself and how I look in general (although with that, what’s fixable is fixable and what isn't I'll manage to live with).

Ugh, I don’t really know what I’m asking here, so any advice would be a wonderful start. (and even if I don’t get that it’ll still have been nice just to put this into words )

You should concentrate on resolving your confidence problems. You'll need to read up on this a bit but for the time being tell yourself everyone is as shy as you underneath it all, so you're going to act more confident than them.

Just gotta think less about it man. You're making the right moves so good on you Take pride in yourself and you'll go far.
