hey all, let me introduce myself since i'm new on here. i'm 17 years old and still go to high school and i think i have a social problem.

My problem isn't too bad, I put myself out there. I talk to girls and hang out with group of people, all of that jazz. however, most girls who are not in my "group circle" (I hate the idea of 'my group' but whatever) tend to ignore me...a lot. I would say hey, but no respone or look at me, and I even tried to "hey can i have some of your gum?" as a conversation sparker 2.5 times in the row without noticing. believe me, I'm loud enough and high self-confidence. they can't not hear me, especially when i'm 3 feet away from that person and i said it loud and clear.

yeah, some of you may think i'm just trying too hard to get attentions. I don't seriously feel like i'm getting enough attentions to whoever i'm trying talk to. i think it's completely rude and insulting. it's almost like being rejected, but in more evil way. I dress fine(just jeans/tshirt and hoodie if it's cold), I wear cologne + red zone deodorant, and I'm not that ugly. Just overall decent guy with a good personality. I don't see anything wrong with me except that i can't speak very well and is hard of hearing.

what the fuck wrong with those people or me? Any advice on this?

Short Note: 80% of girls from my school ignore me. Some are nice enough to talk to me only because they know my friend well, but I'm really tired of being left out and yeah shit - i'm going to bed now, peace out.

High school is fucking stupid, just try to tagalong with your friends to parties and get f'ing wasted. See where it goes from there.

social life at school doesnt make sense dude. figure that out before you get out and youll be alright. learn to make the best of it cuz yeah it can be great. I diddnt take that shit seriously at all plus i diddnt show up alot (I did graduate with everybody else tho.. big deal).. but thats why I go to community college and among my better friends one goes to cal poly and another goes to ucla (bastards). Make sure you spot the gems that are interested in you (girls) thats whats important because I had my head in my ass contemplating girls that were out of my reach for one reason or another.. Thats not as to say settle Im just saying sometimes you got something great in front of you but you wont see it cuz your a dumbass at the time.

High school girls man, they're immature; they fear whats different. Some might not talk to you sadly because you're the deaf/hearing impaired guy. The girls who are more mature might even feel they'll do something stupid and embarrass themselves by drawing attention to your disability. Hopefully you'll start noticing a change in the way they act soon, the second half of high school is much better. People stop being self absorbed petty little pricks. At least they start to stop.

Anyway, i just got back from school. I tried to have a conversation with several people.



One was with this girl at the nurse office(didnt catch her name), she was the only one kept the conversation rolling but with a forced smile(you know like you just feel bad but you dont want to hurt their feeling).

Other one, same thing..except she looked at me and said 'umm...hi?' and looked at me like there's something wrong with my face. then she just walked over to another guy(he's the stupidest guy in the class) and started flirting with him.



The rest of my conversations with other people are just school stuff.



Jesus Christ, people need to stop treating me like i'm retarded. it seem like people just don't want talk to me or be friend. i can talk and listen about 85% well enough.

Edit: Oh and I was reading on uglies topic. someone pulled that wingman shit on me and completely ignored me.
