Me and this girl have had a thing going for a while now. I have very, very strong feelings for her. Not "I like you alot" kind of feelings... I want to call it love, but I dont know how to tell her because I dont know how she would react. What are some ways to show that I really care for her?

Hold her hand then pull her close, and whisper it into her ear. Or you can just help her accomplish one of her dreams that she has always wanted to do. Or find something she really enjoys and do something special for her. Maybe you both love to lie under the stars and just gaze, you can name a star after her . Good luck.

Do something really crazy to help her out of a bad situation and then when she says "I can't believe you did that for me." Just say matter-of-factly "Of course I did, I love you."

Maybe you could give her something that means alot to you? After we had been together for a couple months, my boyfriend gave me his lacrosse stick so I would have something to play with when I was bored. It was so sweet of him.

I think the best way is to hold in the words until they just burst out with no thought on the matter...it also helps prevent you from confusing hormones with real commitment to a person.

It also helps to continuously be trust-worthy - a cheater can act like their love is true, when they're just so fucking obsessed with their own success that sharing a bit of the excess isn't shit to them.

I just found out that my Dad's been cheating on my Mom for 23 years; they've been married 25. He did everything to show love - atleast the family had thought...he was just giving us what he didn't want for himself.

Life sure does throw some fucking curve-balls.

Just be there for her when it really counts, and know that nothing you could for her would be too much. My boyfriend had a fight with his sister once while he parents were out of town, about a party he had, and it ended with the house being trashed. I spent five hours on the phone with him talking it out and just being there for him, and then crashed his house the next day and helped clean up until the place was spotless.

It wasn't really a flashy or extravagant thing to do, but he really appreciated it and it demonstrated how much I care about him.

I was wondering when I should have said it, and i couldn't think of the best time, or way to say it etc..

One day, we were laying on the floor kissing, and I just couldnt hold it in any longer, i just said I love you so much, and she almost started crying and said it back and how she wanted to for so long.

I gave my girl my badge, because there was alot of shit I had to go through to get it

Does anyone know for certain how someone will react the first time you tell them you love them? I think it is important to be said, along with gestures that show love.

What things do you think she might recognize as being loving? You can lavish a person with gifts, or you can lavish them with the things that you do for them. I find that it's the little things that a person does that touch my heart.

Although this is only a gesture of friendship, a coworker gave me this really cool ink pen today. I absolutely loved it...and I'm not in love with him. So, imagine what a similar gesture would mean from someone you do love.
