So my friend was supposed to pick me up at band practice and give me a ride home. He often stays over on Fridays and gives me a ride to school Saturday mornings. He was already several hours late, but I was busy so I didn't care too much - I was just a little worried. Anyways, I get a phone call in the middle of practice and I think it must be him so I answer the phone and it's some girl. She says

"Hi! You don't know me, but I just needed to know if it's true that you're seeing John."

and I'm like "Who is this?"

and she says the most retarded thing I've ever heard from another girl "I don't want to tell you who I am cause I'm afraid you'll tell John." Moron! What? She thinks I'm not going to tell him? She thinks he wont figure it out? O my god. So, I answer

"Uh... well, yea, I guess John and I see each other. Not sexy like, but we see each other."

"O. Okay. I just needed to know, because he says you're seeing each other."

So I say "O. Well, in that case, sure, yea. We're seeing each other. It's awesome. It hot sex all the time." I mean, he's my friend. If he's desperate enough to tell a girl he's seeing me so he can't see her, I'll play along.

"Okay. I just needed to know." She says and hung up.

John never picked me up that night. Fucking sucked - took me forever to get a cab out there.

Anyways, bottom line is: If you are older than 13 it is wildly inappropriate to call up a girl you don't know to ask her if she's seeing someone and then refuse to tell her who it is. I don't care if you're a girl or a boy/man or woman. This is inappropriate and moronic behavior. Never allow yourself to succumb to this sort of stupidity.

I know! I was worried! I thought she might've freaked out and killed him and ate him or something. I mean John is like my best friend and I can't imagine him just standing me up unless there was something really fucked up going on. Then he didn't call me for several days afterwards cause he was embarrassed, but we talked it out. He got rid of her... for the time being. I have a feeling she's not going away permanently any time soon though.

Not saying you're a skank, but in her eyes you might be, if she really wants the guy and to you he's just 'meh'.. just be carefull, she might well go psycho and try to stab you.
