I must be naive.

First I must make it clear that I am not one of those chicks that thinks all men are pigs, or complains about how the media objectifies women. I have no problem with casual sex, or people who have casual sex.

Some people I sort of know showed up tonight, and somehow, the conversation immediatly turned to sex. At first they were just talking about sexual terms, such as "Buckin' Bronco" and "Carpet Cleaner." Somebody told a story about coming home to find a huge woman (he had pictures) at his apartment with his roomate. He said to her "How did you get here, did they take out the windows and use a crane??" Then this guy (a marine, I might add) told a lovely story about how him and his friends had a point system. One point for an average to good looking girl, five points for a fat chick, ten points for fucking a girl in the Wal-Mart bathroom and taking her clothes. He explained about how he had to "take one for the team" because he just couldn't lose.

Even up to this point, I wasn't entirely offended. I had just been whispering to my friend that these stories sounded made up and incredibly lame.

But then this guy starts talking about how he had his phone headset on the entire time. And how he answered the phone, and told his friend that he was "doing a big chick."

On one hand, I don't feel bad for the type of girls that will have sex with guys like this. On the other, I know how guys can sweet talk, and it's especially hard if you're incredibly insecure.

I found this whole thing incredibly disgusting. I don't care how many people you have sex with, as long as you're doing it because you enjoy it. Of course, it can get to be a bit too many, but I won't lose all respect for you. As a game though? I find that sort of gross.

One guy asked "What's the worst thing you've done to a girl?" And of course, I still had faith that these would be stories they'd feel bad about... but they were proud of some of the things they've done to girls. I eventually stopped listening and sat there and played Sudoku.

I guess I'm really disappointed. I guess I knew people like this existed, but to think that I know them, and I actually gave one of them a hug when he walked in? It's almost enough to make me feel physically sick.

Well.. That's pretty bad I suppose..

Tell me this, have you ever seen guys do the "What? he's had 15 shots? I'LL DO 20!"

This is partially for the fact that men are idiots, and it's second to the fact that they feel the need to impress or outdo their idiot friends in completely childish competitions.. like that.

News flash, guys suck, but there is an equal amount of girls who do the same exact shit to guys (maybe less overtly). Get over yourself, thats the way the world is: Some people suck, some people don't. It isn't limited to gender, race, religion or otherwise - it is just the way the world is. Maybe if you grew up a little and took your head out of your ass you would realise that it is not that big a deal...if you aren't on the same wavelengths as these people why the hell to you hang out with them?

Besides that, a lot of guy talk is just machismo and bravado that they will put on for show. Those who actually are so callas and tactless to remorselessly pursue women in this fashion will one day or another regret it. What goes around, comes around...karma...etc. Why you think of yourself so much better as to judge the way someone else lives their lives is beyond me. Take a good hard look at your own life, every aspect of it, and tell me if you are 100% peachy moral in everything you do. Maybe one of those guys gets his kicks by humiliating women, but it is his flaw and he is the one who has to deal with it.

Why you spend your time even reflecting on this issue is absolutely beyond me. There is no reason to point out the obvious, unless you really have nothing better to do.

First off, I'll do more shots than all of you, and second I had guys like that as my roommates in college. I was in a 4 person suite with 3 guys who went to school together and were complete toolsheds. I ended up just leaving and not coming back to the dorm until the end of semester to get some of my shit I had left there. Luckily I have good friends who let me crash at their apartment for like a month.

When I was in high school, and we all turned about seventeen/eighteen the boys developed a point system (the idiot boys I might add, I still retain some faith in the male gender).

Any way, it was one point for hooking up with a girl from our year, two points for the year below us, four points for a junior, and five points for the year seveners [Thirteen year olds].

First to fifteen wins.

That made me want to throw up in my mouth a little.

Anyways, that sucks I'm a dude and none of my buddies ever did a point system, but it seems like both sexes fuck around with the opposite sex (no pun intended). Oh. In your original post I got the impression that it was a while before you got offended.

I had a boss who told a dirty joke at work to a crew of about five ladies. Some snickered, some just walked away. I was the only one who said that it was inappropriate to tell something like that to women and as I walked away he defended it by saying a woman told that to him. To which I replied that I didn't care who told it to him, it was still inappropriate...and we parted ways as I went back to work.

Yeah. I'm uptight and conservative about certain things. But I'm not about to just sit there and not say something about it directly. I think too many people do that because they're afraid of being thought a prude or a geek.

I would have at least left their company because I would have felt degraded just being amongst them. They weren't even your friends...just acquaintences.

Although, the only reason I feel kinda bad for the female-victims in these scenarios is that a lot of them probably have their own issues to deal with if they're slutting around with random guys who will do this to them.

It is pretty mean to do and fucks it up for decent guys who might want to have a one night stand, but not for the purpose of being an asshole like that (like me for example).

Correction: Some men are idiots and slightly smaller amount of women are idiots. However, they are far fewer emotionally crippled men than emotionally crippled women. Some of these, feel a need to buttress their ego's with emotions and ideas like oneupmanship.

But most females I've talked to agree that you don't have to pretend to like somebody in order to sleep with him. Most guys I've talked to said that you have to pretend to have feelings for a girl in order to sleep with her. And that's low, leading people on sucks... but yes, girls do it too.

If it's any consolation, most guys will have grown out of that type of behavior by the time they hit their 30's.

I think part of that is due to the fact that, by and large, when woman hit their 30's - a lot of times even earlier - they find that they're no longer willing to put up at all with men who act like that.

I said I'm making a website and I am, I was being serious, but no one said anything, wow.
