Alot of people seem to ask me if I'm gay or bisexual...

Like one girl says "I always thought you where bisexual.. You just have that way!". Other girls have asked "Are you gay or bisexual?" - As soon as she met me!

My best mate even said "Look, I dont mind if you're bisexual or gay... I'll support you if you are and you decide to come out."!

Now I dont know what would send out these signals. I dont dress homosexual. Im VERY shy though...

Any ideas?

haha, i've been asked if i were gay a few times.

it's because i wear tight shirts. and dress preppy at a school full of asians and mexicans.

a girl who got to know me said "i thought you were gay before, i think you're just a pretty boy now"

some even say in a way im metro.

i'm just those guys who wear abercrombie and express for my age, no biggies. i think we get the best type of girls, fun but not whores.

I get asked if im gay sometimes. Always due to me having a slight speech impediment, which ive had since the age of 4 and have had speech therapy for it but its as good as its gonna get. And of course if you have a slight lisp you HAVE to be gay, way to go hollywood sterotyping an impediment with a sexual preferance! (gets shotgun and leaves for hollywood)

I think that a significant 'other' doesn't directly point toward 'sexual orientation'. There's people out there, who are blatanltly gay--yet have a boyfriend/girlfriend of the opposite sex to hide it. Other times, they're just Bi.

I'm talking about asking someone's sexuality in moment's after meeting them. If you get to know a person comfortably enough, and they're willing to disclose more personal information to you, then go for it.

It's just a common courtesy thing in my book. I don't care if someone walked up and said "Are you Straight, because you look it?". I'd still wouldn't see that as a respectable thing to do, but that could be because I respect people's privacy until they are ready/willing to disclose.

Yea same here, no big deal some guys take homophobia to far. As I think someone above me said, as much as some people would like to think, almost no one is totally straight. Likewise, almost no one is totally gay. Have you seen the movie "Kinsey"? First of all, if you haven't, I recommend it. Second of all, it's about Alfred Kinsey, who did a lot of research about sex and developed a famous scale from 0 (totally straight) to 6 (totally gay).

I consider myself about a 4.5 to a 5, I am a male who is nearly always attracted to other males. There is an occasional female that I might find attractive, but I probably wouldn't do anything about it even if I did. You sound like you're about the same as me, only in the opposite direction, since you're mostly straight. It's normal, most people are that way, whether they admit it or not.
