i was with this girl for 8 months and i am completely and totally in love with her. about 2 months ago, her mom found out that i wasn't christian and shit went ballistic. my gf was basically manipulated into thinking she was doing the wrong thing by being with me and whatnot. anyway, we had to break up even though we still loved each other (which is rather stupid, i know). but i can't get over her!!! at first we'd still talk and see each other. about a month ago, the last time i saw her, she said "I'm going to tell you something but you have to promise you'll forget it two seconds later" i was like "okay" and she said "i love you" and held me for like 2 minutes straight. but recently she has cut off all communication. yesterday i was on facebook and i found that she removed me as a friend and made her profile private. I don't know why she's being like this but i can't get over her.

what should i do? talking to other girls just reminds me of how good she was. gaaah i hate this. never fall in love.

I know where you're coming from, my girlfriend is deeply, insanely religious. I, on the otherhand, sort of ride the fence when it comes to religion, I'm christian but I'm far, far from devout. So far she has taken me for who I am though, and she has really never thought anything of it, even when its come up. I suggest you get over this girl. If she hasn't seen the light yet (pun intended) and either contacted you or shown any hints that she might change her mind, then it's probably not worth wasting your time chasing her. It sounds like you'd have to be a bible-beater just to get back w/ her anyways, not worth it imo

I was with a Christian once, we met at a Christian gathering but I wasn't really that into it, just sort of went to the gatherings for something to do (and only the fun things), and he made me go to some big thingy and tried to convert me, and it was damn scary. I realised that day that being with him was being with God, and that we'd have to get up early every Sunday for church, and that terrified me. I need those Sunday's for sleeping in!

Not to mention, he was ridiculously lame and wanted to save his first KISS for his wedding day.
