Does this mean anything?
So a girl I sort of know walks into my room, taps me on the head (I didn't notice her come in), and launches into a monologue about her swimming practice schedule. Then leaves due to having to go to class. I think I know her name but I'm not sure.
I am confused yet pleased that the expectation of being able to perfectly create and execute a conversation within expected boundaries is not universally held. I never saw that stuff on tv or elsewhere so I always figured it was really important. Though it is still true that creative use of language and templates usually just confuses most people.

So you purposefully made a thread that no one would understand? lol

Re: Does this mean anything?
Well, not exactly. I'm just saying that conversational and other social templates aren't neccesary for some kind of understanding, and that there's really more to it than that. And I'm saying it in such a way, without the point explicitly stated.
Also felt like expressing one of my bi-weekly mood swings through a post that is somewhat upbeat.

You don't need drugs to change your mind, just years of focused introspection.

How the hell else would I express what I'm thinking? There's a REASON it made me happy. Confusion was expressed. I explained myself to the best of my ability. Shit like this is why people use nothing but standardized concepts and language. Beyond the scope of this forum, but nevertheless, stfu; life's fucking boring if you don't think about it.
Don't you think I've heard that before? I KNOW I sound like a dumbass. But there is no other way to express myself. When someone asks you a boolean question, do you have any idea how much it complicates things to tell the truth and explain that you think niether but choose to view the issue from a perspective where judgement in those terms isn't applicable?
Fine, howabout I break it down in simpler terms:
I WAS HAPPY TO SEE SOMEONE WHO WASN'T AFRAID TO CONFUSE ME. I WAS THEREBY INSPIRED TO EXPRESS MYSELF MORE FREELY, HENCE THIS THREAD.
I personally would have been afraid to talk to someone like that out of fear that they would be confused and annoyed. But she did it, and I saw that there are people without this fear, and that it can turn out fine.
And NOW I'm fucking pissed because apparently it's true that if you confuse people they just lump you into a generalization they are capable of understanding, because apparently everyone needs to make a judgement on everything immediately.
Seriously, what the fuck; I get a little hope in humanity and you guys just go and crush it. People don't like it when you don't think like them.
Does anyone get what I'm saying AT ALL?

Yeah man sorry for being harsh. I get what you mean now. That is actually pretty cool that she had the guts, or whatever it was, to randomly go in and talk to you about that. I wish more people were like that. And I wish LESS people were so quick to judge by means of confusion like you said.
I guess it all falls under the first impressions thing and how most people will see you the way they saw you first unless you prove to them that your not what you seem. K, now it feels like I'm starting to not make sense so I'll leave it at that.

I think you're trying too hard to be deep. All she did was talk to you about her swim practice...

Yes but no one ever does that. ie., just walk up to someone they don't know very well and launch into a monologue. There's a lot of things like that people just don't do. I didn't understand. Hence my over-rationalization of the situation. Yes, it was only mildly confusing, and not explicitly so. Yes, I'm sure she meant nothing by it. But it was just a great feeling knowing that it's possible to do your own thing without pissing people off.
Please stop trying to label me as trying to be deep or witty or whatever. I'm not. If you think I'm wrong, tell me why. I have a new idea, I spend a lot of time and effort developing it. That's really all I am; a collection of these things.
I really don't think how significant an action is matters either. People spend tons of time and confusion trying to figure out why people kill other people, or divorce them, or whatever. But why do those things even have to be significant? Maybe the guy was just drunk and pissed off; maybe they're just realizing that it was probably a bad idea to get married to someone they were just momentarily infatuated with. The only reason they're attributed more worth is because people care about them.
What's so strange about trying to understand more about how people interact on a day to day basis? I don't really know much about people or about how I can interact with them. How can I do anything about anything if I'm in the dark all the time? I need to know where I stand in terms of everyone else.
