I got my girlfriend pregnant. That slim chance of protected sex lead to a pregnancy. This is the most depressing day of 2007.

I don't even really know what to say right now, but my mind is full of thoughts and the future

Abortion is probably the road we'll be heading, 95% sure. We both very desperatly don't want to have a child, not to mention we're both only 18, and neither of us quite reached the high-school diploma. Not many ways we could raise a child, not to mention that were both pretty irresponsible to raise a child

This news from today really brought me down, and I've been smoking bud all day trying to relieve the situation, but seems to make me think of the situation in a more negative awkward way.

You guys are the only folks who know about this, because I haven't built up the courage to tell anyone I personally know

How is this a "bad day" exactly? She got pregnant, she gets abortion, problem solved. It might as well be you got a jacket dirty, and now you have to dry clean it.

Well, that kind of sucks, but do what you gotta do. I have a friend who recently had an abortion, and she said it wasn't that bad. Just please stick with your girlie through this, it'd be a dick move to do otherwise...

What kind of protection were you using? These stories make me paranoid about getting a girl pregnant.

I was using a condom, she wasn't on the pill. The condom never slipped off, nor do I think it ripped during all the times we've had sex

And I want to go for the abortion, and I think she does too, but so far she's been quiet and keeping what she thinks to herself

At least you seem to have your head on your shoulders and aren't like the normal idiots that come in here with the 'omg she caught preggors!' threads.

You need to talk to your girlfriend, make a decision on what you BOTH want to happen (weather that be abortion, adoption, or keeping the child).

You're sensible enough to realise that you can't handle a child at the moment, and personally in my opinion I think the option of not keeping the child (weather that be by abortion or adoption) is more then likely the correct one.

Get things sorted sooner rather then later. Work out any costs that may be involved (here abortions are 'free' but I know that in places like America they can get very expensive). Get her into a clinic, be with her every step of the way!

Shes only about 1-2 months pregnant, so we thought about the pill she should take to abort the baby since shes still in her early stage

it actually kind of terrifies me because that could so easily be me or someone i know.

Otherwise after that, during its middle stages, you gotta get it surgically done

Indeed, abortions early on are accomplished with two simple pills. Later on in the pregnancy it requires surgery. So, I suggest you get it done soon.

If your girl is willing to have an abortion, then consider yourself lucky.

If she's quiet about it, and having second thoughts...then look up essential oils. They cost around 10-20 dollars an ounce, but if you use them regularly, especially sage, melissa, and rosemary, then you can actually cause her to abort without her consent or approval.

It's been the backup I've been saving just in case my girl ever sprung the news on me.

Think about the mental consequences of this dude, they could mess her up later down the road.

And from what I heard from your post, something must of put a hole the size of a needle (no pun intended) in your rubber.

Personally,

I don't like the abortion idea, since it's not dead, concived though rape or a threat to your girlfriend's life. Heard it might haunt people thoughts later on.

I would of rather gone with the flow of what is going on, go through with the 9 months and see what happens from there.

You could leave the little one on Madonna's or Joleie's front doorstep. Since they are alway adopting, just ring their doorbells, leave your baby at the door, and voila, problem solved!

If you can't afford to keep your child (or get past the gated community of persons mentioned above) place it up for someone to adopt it, possible making some family very happy. And if you can get the state to paid for the delivery bill, it would be sort of a win-win sitiution, in my view.

Those are my thoughts.

Unlike the most of the murder/suicide crowd here,I am not going to help you decide what choice to do.

Just both be VERY supportive of each other, do your research and make DAMN sure it a choice you BOTH can live with.
