I have a slight lisp. People either don't notice (or don't care enought to say anything) or they make fun of me, lol. It took me years to notice it on myself. I seriously couldn't understand why people in my junior high found it hilarious when they got me to say "lisp".

Maybe your tongue is long and has a hard time getting away from your top front 2 teeth when making the 'S' sound. I think that would make sense.

I have a really slight lisp as well. No one comments on it except my boyfriend, and he says it's adorable. Makes me a little mad because I had two years of speech therapy that were supposed to have corrected it, but I guess I never got my "sh" and "ch" sounds right. Ah well.

I couldn't find a lisp cute/attractive.

My little sister has a lisp, and my brother has a major speech impediment. They are both somewhat mentally retarded. (develop mentally delayed). So I’d always associate a lisp with a form of mental issue.

Once I was at this tiny house party, and there was this amazingly attractive girl, like WOAH, but it all ended when she talked. Her lisp was so severe, it made people cringe. Well it made me cringe, while she talked to me. She ended up leaving with this ugly 25 year old who lives with his mum.

So I also associate lisps with a lack of standards.

Oh, and sick boy, I remember you made a "rate my voice" thread. Your lisp was almost unnoticable. Your voice was cute. I'd fuck your voice box.

Lisps annoy the hell out of me. I don't care if your male or female.. they sound retarded.. It bugs me almost as bad as those people say 'w's' in place of 'r's'... I don't mean to be so intolerant of speech impediments.. They're just.. annoying.
