I've had a really good friend back in high school. I liked him a hell of a lot and his girlfriend was absolutley awesome. I often hung out with the both of them...parties, bars and just kicking it. The general BS teenagers do.

Eventually, after high school, everyone went their seperate ways. They broke up..

Three or four years later..after not talking with my best friend's ex girlfriend, Nell, we've somehow come into contact again and are talking.

We've both been under some stress lately- me with work and school and she with family issues- so we decided to get together tonight, go to a bar and have a few drinks hoping to ease the tension.

I guess I should add that she has a boyfriend who, in my opinion, is a complete shmuck. I've never met the guy but from what she told me, he's a "well educated" college graduate who is bi-polar and is currently in a psychiatric ward.

Anyway, let's assume her boyfriend, Luke, is a great guy aside from his psycological issues- for the sake of argument at least...

We left the bar. I drove her home and she invited me in. She was so cute the way she did it, by the way. We talked about old times, talked about sex, talked about life in general. I worked up the nerve to ask her if she invited me in with the intent to have sex. She, of course, said no and said "Why, were you?". I laughed and told her "Yeah, I sort of wanted to." I then told her how I was always attracted to her and she replied with the same.

We flirted a little, laughed a lot and eventually we were laying on each other, kissing and licking evey part of the body, she was unbuttuning my belt and I was unstrapping her bra- things were sooo very perfect!- And right then it dawned upon me- She has a boyfriend. I thought about how angry and hurt I would be if I was in his (her asshole boyfriend's) shoes and also how bad she might feel about it tomorrow.

So I stopped at point blank range and told her "We can't do this." She agreed, giggled a bit and told me she wasn't a bad person. (LOL) I knew that and told her so.. We both had a cigarrette, sitting in a somewhat awkward silence. I said "Maybe some day", and left.

I feel like SHIT. I'll be honest, I wanted that ASS so fucking bad. But at the same time, I really do like her a lot as a friend and don't want to cause any more drama for her than she already has.

I don't know why I'm posting this. I guess partially because I've been drinking and also because I just need to throw this out there, think about it and clear my mind.

I feel really bad for the boyfriend though. If the poor fucker is in a psychiatric ward last thing he needs is his girlfriend fucking about on him.

It dont matter that you didnt actually fuck. She would have if you had. It's fine and fair if she wants you, and it's fine and fair if you want her, but she needs to remember that guy in psych. and if she wants to fuck around with other people that much she shouldnt just stick to that 'out of sight out of mind' shit.

Although you got carried away, it's fairly noble to be able to show restraint in times of randyness. I could have sworn I've seen topics of yours in S&A before though.

For some very strange reason i thaught you were a female......made the story 100x better, although it did make me wonder about all the encouragment and acalades for your self restraint and good nature.

I was in a similar situation with a hot girl but it was more blunt. She was bored of sex with her boyfriend, and they had a kid and we were friends. She just started tring to convince me to go over and fuck her one day... I was tempted but didnt, that was a few months ago, i still think about it sometimes because im sure the offers still open but no regrets
