A serious love lesson. (Very long!)
First of all I want every poster to know what lies within this post is the complete truth. No more, no less. I only hope to inspire and prevent disasters like this.
Maybe a few of you will evaluate your relationships and realize a few things.
I met my now ex who we will call J to protect the guilty about 2 years ago.
The first night we screw at my place. She leaves, she stays gone for 3 months as we remain casual friends.
The end of the summer I go up to her place, over a few days we're rolling in the bed again. Things are going smooth, getting laid without any effort other than putting a rubber on.
A month later we're officially "dating" a term I still know nothing about. It's great, her mom likes me, her stepdad becomes a good beer drinking buddie of mine.
One day I take her to her mom's work, her ex starts running his mouth to me, I get out of my car and am jumped by three guys. One year later, almost to the date, I see him and violently assault him.
Ok, jealous ex taken care of. About four months before this I met J's mother's best friend, and her son John who's still a good friend and probley the coolest damn person I know.
Me and J spent alot of time smokin weed and drinking with John and his friend Ray. John and Ray were two people I could definitely say I genuinely liked.
One day J and I discuss the people we've slept with, she denies half of the people she's told me about, including the ex I went through hell to deal with.
This would be your first cue that something is wrong. Stupid me. Again this ex comes up again, her little sis and John are talking about it. I ask again, Denial. Not that I cared but I needed to reinforce to myself that I could trust her.
J's mom was a bum. She was in short a selfish whore. She would take my car keys
and run it out of gas. Consistantly.
When I said something to her, she'd make up an obvious excuse or lie. She slept all day, literally only getting up to go screw her boss or snort a pill.
J's lieing and contradictions became constant. I would break up with her only to take her back a day or two later. This was an endless cycle of self-defeatism. J had the ability to fake emotions and cry on demand.
One night I began to drink at her moms. J's mom and step dad had divorced. Her mom decided to take my car and run it out of gas while I finished off a case of beer. Bad mistake. J's mom had called her ex husband becuase I was "trying to break in and kill J". When in fact I was only trying to get the last of my beers and my cooler before I left. Then supposedly the neighbors called the cops.
He arrived, chokeslamed me into a couch, and left while I lay disoriented. I managed to make the 30 mile drive home before the cops arrived.
Again, I take J back. We break up again.
My best friend Ty and I go to John's to party and drink. John tells me how J called and tried to sleep with him, which looking back now, was probley nothing less than the total truth.
J calls to say she's pregnant. I call bullshit. I buy a pregnancy test for her to take, she get's angry and refuses. It had been weeks since I'd seen J, and her stomach was pretty damn big.
We go to the hospital. J has chlymedia, I don't. What a complete lack of surprise. Denial. Has no idea how she got it. I do.
Three month's ago. We go to get ultra sounds. Everyone's excited. Baby girl clothes flying out my ass from everyone.
Somethings off though. She won't let her mother go back with her to the doctors room. My mom isn't allowed either, or is her dad.
Not even me.
I get a call from my mom, the ultrasounds are way outdated, I also find J's hospital papers stashed under my mattress, she has a cyst on her overie(?).
J's not pregnant. It all adds up though she still denied it until I kicked her out. Haven't spoken to her since. She's just fat as hell, which can be explained through her constant eating.
I should be angry, pissed, with a feeling of loss or lonliness but I'm not. This experience has given me alot of knowledge and (as corny as it sounds) a better understanding of myself. As I said before, I hope at least I have helped someone going through the brutal hell of holding onto someone. It's not worth it.
You're better than that. Take care.

That really sucks. Don't let it put you off love altogether, though.
