Default Eating Disorders.

There's alot of missinformation out there, alot of shame and contradictions. Eating disorders are illnesses. It's hard to deal with anybody who's sick, let alone love and help and accept them. It's even harder to deal with the disease when it's inside your own body.

Maybe this thread isn't such a good idea, but there just seem to be so many girls out there struggling so much.

Post your stories if you feel comfortable, your problems with this sort of thing. I don't know if I can give much advice, since I haven't been doing so well myself, but it just might help to let it out?

I don't know.

Well, for the last few weeks, I've been gagging myself when I eat. Not because I'm trying to lose weight, but because I like putting things down my throat. Do any of you want to put something down my throat?

Default Re: Eating Disorders.

My sister developed one around the same time my parents parted ways. I guess she did it for the attention, or just because it was one situation she could "control". She wouldn't eat with us at all, wouldn't be seen dead with food - however, she was picking at food that we left out for her after a cooked meal.

Fast forwarding 1 1/2 years to the present day, the disorder is still there, but now she'll eat salads, fruit (i.e. "healthy" things) in front of us. She still won't touch proper food with other people around as "it's fatty and bad for you", but again, she eats it if it's left out. This Christmas was particularly good progess - she came out for a meal with me and my Dad to a restaurant and ordered a Cesar salad. She also picked at things she wouldn't normally eat, like chocolate, from our food cupboard at home.

I guess, like all things, time is all she needs to recover. There was one time where she was quite ill, but she now looks a lot healthier.

Hearing from my Mum, it sounds like it's very difficult to live with someone with an eating disorder - good luck to anyone who has to put up with it.

Default Re: Eating Disorders.

I was always a bit bigger. When I was young I thought I was fat as early as probably 4 or 5. Looking back I wasn't fat at all. I wasn't one of those tiny little children, I was just normal.

From the time I was about 11 until the time I was probably 18 or so I fought with anorexia. I started out trying to "shrink my stomache", an idea I got from a womens magazine. I did this by eating less and less over a period of time. I started out eating about 1/2 of what I normally would. So, if I had a sandwich for lunch, I would eat half. My parents weren't home a lot so it wasn't hard for me to change my habits.

Gradually I lost some weight and I thought "Hey! What if I eat only 1/4 of what I normally would?" And that is how it began. I can remember times when I ate nothing but a couple soda crackers a day for 3 or 4 days at a time. My mom started to notice and she asked me a lot if I had eaten this meal or that meal and of course I would lie. Sometimes I would eat a meal with my family to get them off my case but I would make up for this by not eating x times after that or before.

I think over all I lost about 60 pounds maybe and kept it off for a long time. I was really bony and I had an obsession with my collar and hip bones, as I have noticed a lot of girls who are "dieting" do. I used to get bruises on my back where the vertebrae were.

I met my boyfriend when I was 14. He would always tell me how skinny I was. I loved it. I never ate anything when I was with him. Sometimes I would stay at his house for the weekend and not eat the whole time. He also had what I would call a borderline eating disorder, and this helped me to starve myself.

When I was 15 I went on the pill and I gained a bit of weight, maybe 7 lbs. I was shattered!!!!! I fought really hard after that with myself, but due to some new friends and some other reasons I had started eating a little more. I started gaining weight and I hated myself for the next two years as I started to look a little more like a girl.

I can remember the first full meal that I ate. My boyfriends mom one day made some to die for sweet and sour ribs and I couldn't help it, I ate a full portion. It was delicious and I couldn't get over how much I ate! A whole plate! Something I hadn't done in years..

I still fight with food and with myself every day. Every time I eat food, I think about the consequences and the fat that it will grow into. I try my best to ignore these feelings. I will always have an unhealthy relationship with food. I have been trying to get over hating myself and my flesh, and I think I might be improving. I don't hate myself so much anymore... I can look in the mirror and not be repulsed. Sometimes I look at pictures of myself when i was a waif and I feel kind of sick. I look at my tiny body and the bones that jutted out and my face and how it was so pointy and I wonder how I could have starved for so long. I am unsure whether I caused any serious harm to my body, as I have some problems now with my period and it not showing up. How none of my family or friends noticed this whole thing I don't know.. I think they must have known... But who knows.

I don't have a scale anymore. So, that's my story I guess. It's nice to talk about it sometimes. When I think back, sometimes it doesn't even seem really real. I've never done much talking about my problems and writing it out helps to realize how big the problem was.

yoyobek three years ago: 18stone 3pounds.

yoyobek 14/01/07: 10stone 8pounds.

It's like all the film stars and supermodels say, 'I lost it by eating three meals a day!'

..No one ever said anything about keeping those meals down though.

Meh that's pretty much all in the past though. Not becuse I'm great and amazing and have brilliant willpower, simply because I cant fucking afford to buy huge amounts of food, eat it all then throw it up ten minutes later by jamming a toothbrush down my throat.

Not a happy time were those days. It started when my dad started force feeding me. Yes, he started forcefeeding a morbidly obese teenager. I guess he didnt like the idea that I wanted to lose weight and might escape from him one day.

I remember back to the time when by law I had to visit him four times a week I'd be force fed. Then I'd go to my room with excuses of doing 'homework' and I'd put music on to hide the noise and vomit into a plastic bag lined pringles tube. Then I'd dispose of the bags of vomit the next day in various bins.

That went on for almost three years.

Yeah, same here... especially over holidays or something. I dont really eat breakfast or lunch, just occasionally go to the cupboard and grab something to eat. I remember some time last week I couldn't be bothered cooking a dinner for myself so I was going to go withouth, but instead I invited one of my mates over and told him to bring food.

I dont have an eating disorder, I can't put on weight at all. I'm 16 and only about 90 lbs maybe 100, or 110... I forget, but i'm very under-weight.

No, that's just cute .

I generally like men who eat alot more though.

Food is a pleasure in life, it's nice to see a guy enjoying something.

Something I've realised that I didnt notice when I was one of them, but girls with an eating disorder can be tiresome.

Ever been in a kebab shop or a resteraunt with a bunch of people, and there's allways one snobby girl who just orders a bottle of water and nothing else, making everyone else feel kind of greedy and uncomfortable?

I developed an eating disorder over 6 years ago because of a series of traumatic events that occurred. I also stopped sleeping and was really messed up. Anyways I went from 220lbs to 72lbs. Eventually I got help but it's a sensitive issue.

I thought I was in the clear until I found out what my current boyfriend really thinks about my appearance. He said point blank he's not attracted to me and he only likes the "inside". He said this to me while telling my "hot" friend that if he had met her before me....anyways. This took a shot to my self esteem and appearance now I have trouble believing his compliments. I had a short relapse with the anorexia but I finding it really tough to stay on track.

Eating disorders are a horrible thing for anyone to have to deal with, what\'s worse is when kidiots go around actually trying to get one.

There were a couple of blonde bitches at my school who use to tell teachers and friends that I was anorexic, but even now that it\'s all blown over I still have 13 year olds who probe me for stupid ideas and things. It\'s tragic cause they think they can control it (even though I wasn\'t anorexic, I was sent to some rehab place where I met alot of girls who were) but it\'s disgusting, as is bulimia. The worst cases involved girls who use to bleed everytime they went to the toilet, people who had fuzz growing all over their bodies and even cases of broken blood vessels in the eyes where they\'d bleed continuously. I really can\'t believe little girls nowadays would actually want to be like this if they knew the truth.

Seeing that eating disorders are in fact mental illnesses, that being of the psychosomatic type, they're always difficult to deal with.

I never had a problem, nor would I, (women tend to be more likely for these things, apparently) but I was involved with a girl who had an eating disorder. She purged herself down to 45 kilos, which is not a lot of body weight. She refused to accept she had a problem (which is generally the first step to recovery) and kept telling me eating disorders were for people who didn't have control, whilst claiming due to the disorder she did have control. Aside from that being contradictory, I found there to be no real end in sight to her problems, since she always refused to let anyone else have the last word, especially when complimenting her.

Not always, people with eating disorders never really overcome them. It only takes one glance in the mirror, one wrong remark or one bad picture to make them relapse. It\'s a sensitive issue.

It certainly is possible to have a healthy relationship and somewhat restore self-image, but it's not easy. Eating disorders a lifelong thing, but with the proper support you can lengthen the time between relapses and episodes. In some cases it may not be worth it, but that's a matter of discretion.

It's just as bad to be falsely accused of an eating disorder.

I've always been very thin, and I can't help it. I have absolutely no appetite, so I can go all day without eating and not even notice. I dislike most foods, and always have. When I do find something I like, I have a very small stomach so I can't eat much of it. I refuse to eat with my family, but only because I can't stand to listen to the disgusting noises they make. I do have body image issues, but they're unrelated to weight.

When any outsider sees this, they immediately proclaim "Anorexia!". Everyone tries to "help" me, of course only making things worse. They won't listen to my explanations, saying I'm just in denial.

Denial. The one medical buzzword you can never defend yourself against. If you deny it, that's part of the denial. If I try to explain my situation in a calm and rational manner, they say I'm making excuses. It makes one want to crack open their head and try to remove the tumorous growth of stupidity from their brain, but they'll just say frustration is another symptom.

Because of all the media attention, many false positives are swept into the news channels' disease of the month. It's bad enough when hypochondriacs see nonexistent diseases in themselves, but even worse when a dozen hypochondriacs think they see it in someone else and want to "help".

It's not just that. I've had more than one close friend with an eating disorder, past or present. Others with related problems. People don't understand how mental disorders like this work, they think it's just a case of reassurance and 'proving' to them that they have a problem. I never really understood this properly until recently, but the 'proof' you can offer could never be more convinving than what they see, and it's incredibly hard to believe someone else's version of how you look when you look in the mirror and all you see is fat. It can be overcome, but it's very, very hard, and it's not just a matter of being there for someone (although it helps, a lot). And Pilsu, it's nothing to do with having a "weak mind". You can go fuck yourself, you have no idea.

I've had three very close friends with eating disorders. Two had overcome the worst of them, but as someone said, it always stays with you. One's stomach shrunk, which is pretty much irreversible, and now she struggles to eat enough food to sustain herself, despite not having the same problem (or at least, to the same degree) anymore. Another was hospitalised, briefly. She knew she had the condition, but couldn't shake it. The third really struggled with it, no support, nobody understood. It fucked her up. I think she still suffers from it, actually.

You might be able to figure, I absolutely hate people who try to contract something like it. I absolutely hate people who claim they have it, even if they don't, parade it like a fucking badge of honour.

I don't think it's a disorder of any sort, but I do eat [B]a lot[/B[ of food. I nwever put on any either either. Anorexic people are simply lazy. Instead of taking the time to learn about nutrition and exercise, they just stop eating. Then they end up looking like skinny crackheads, it's very unattractive.

Girls who work out and eat healthy and have a little muscle (and I'm not talking about those disgusting steroid using bodybuilder type chicks) are HOT.

I think I have a mild eating disorder of sorts. I HATE eating in front of other people. I get super nauseous and it's horrible. I eat lots when I'm alone though, so it's not like I'm underweight or anything. It does make people think I'm anorexic though, which can get upsetting sometimes. Whatever though. It's something that I can get over when I absolutely have to (going out for dinner, etc.) but even then, I'll barely eat anything at all. Gah.

You should always follow the basic precepts of what you know, at least to a certain extent.

For example, I know Oreos are bad for me, but I still occasionally eat them. This isn't the same as realizing I need a balanced diet, yet completely fucking this off by not eating or puking what little food I do eat.

I'm glad most insurance plans don't regard anorexia as a disease, maybe these selfish little media obsessed whores will die off and we will have some good old fashioned Social Darwinism where we need it the most, in the modern industrialized West.

Since puberty, (5th-6th grade) I struggled with anorexia. Not much of a story, really, but it's hard. And boyfriends never understood. In 8th grade, I was still fitting into little girls clothes. Freshman year of high school, I got help at a hospital, and have been okay since. Have gained weight, and I feel pretty okay about myself now.

It really does effect relationships, because girls always think guys are judging them on appearance, when they really don't care, if they really love us...

Yet if you are fat, then you get teased? Where is the middle ground? No wonder so many younger people (females espeically) get complexs about how they look. It's not only from popular culture/the media, but from their peers. Children and teenagers can be so fucking curel and sadly the damage on young minds can be rather terrible.

So maybe you weren't teased in school because you were slightly over weight, luccky you - maybe you're very headstrong and don't listen to others shit, good for you, espeically if it was happening at a young age.

But you ARE wrong when it comes to people that have a genuine issues with eating, they are different from the attention seeking 14 year olds that think its cool, they have serious emotional and self-confidence issues.

I also find it funny that everyone seems to be only talking about one extent of eating disorders. You think that anorexia and such other weight loss eating disorders aren't reconised enough? What about obsessive compulsive eaters? There are MANY young people with this problem. Food becomes a comfort for them, and they pack on the weight. This type of eating disorder is hardly reconised at all, people put it down to greed but in many cases the problem steams a lot more deeper then that.

It's a vicous cycle, you eat because you're unhappy, you're unhappy because you're over weight, you get teased because you're over weight therefore you're unhappy - and you eat to make yourself feel better and repeat.

It seems that young people seem to be slipping to either extremes of the scale (pun intended) and espeically in my country, there just aren't many trained professionals to deal with such cases. Recently there has been an out cry for clincs to be opened and trained staff bought in to try and save the youth of this country from the 2 extremes.

I can't help but say though, I am slightly biased on this issue. I DO believe that people with eating disorders to be very weak minded individuals, but that's because I'm quite a headstrong person. They do deserve help although, regardless of how pathetic some of them may be. The problem is trying to weed out the attention whores from the ones that have the serious issues.

I think its also disgusting that 'hollywood' has turned to such shit, espeically with the number of teen idols we have now - espeically the women. The fashion world also needs to move on from the Kate Moss heroin chic look and back into a slightly more filled out figure. There has been movements to go back this way, in the fashion industry at least but hollywood just seems to be pulling them back. The state of the olsen twins disgusts me.

This is really bad, but I've always fantasized about being a waif. I think it would feel so good to be tiny. I think I would feel more feminine, even though I have a very womanly body already. I don't know, I just love that heroin chic look, but they only way I've ever been able to lose weight is drugs, which aren't practical or economical. Or healthy, for that matter, lol.

When I was younger I even tried to be anorexic, but I never could because I like food too much.

I also smoke weed all the time which isn't conducive to weight loss, unfortunately.

I just want to know what it's like to be skinny...

Ugh, I hate that I am totally a product of our society.

Yeah well most girls cry about being fat, i was a fucking rake untill i turned 16.

Then i grew a E size chest and a meaty pokey out ass but the rest of me was still thin. Im 21 now and this is considered HOT and appealing to have that type of figure...but when i was 16 it was crap.. first i got teased in primary school about being skinny, and then in highschool when i was 13-14 they thought i was deliberately vomiting up all my food..But i just had a really fast metabolism.

Then came the rumours about me having a boob job (they thought theres no way i could have a E cup chest and be slim).

Always teased by the fat girls, well sorry im not fat.. fuck you fat bitches.

I have an eating disorder, I'm comfortable with it. Sometimes my friends give me a hard time, but it's only my very close friends who know about it.

I don't consider myself to be sick or anything, but I do know it's a problem.

I'm not obsessed with my appearance and I'm perfectly happy being chubby. I used to be very self-loathing in regards to my appearance and kind of trained my body to hate me back. Whenever my stomach is full I get urges to vomit and sometimes I just can't surpress it. When I eat something really greasy the same thing happens.

Baisically as long as I eat small or average sized meals that do not contain too much fat I'm fine.

When I was 14/15/16 it was really bad. I was abusing laxatives and purging all the time. I was much thinner then. I've always refused to weigh myself on a regular baisis, because it just fans the flames, so to say.

I gained a lot of weight after my dad died too, everyone kept giving my family fruit baskets and pastries and the like and I just gorged my feelings. I've since lost about 40 pounds, don't know exactly how much though.

Here's my story. I've posted it before in seperate threads, but I'm posting it again.

When I first met my girlfriend, I didn't realise she had an eating disorder. Then over time, I noticed she got extremely thin. I didn't really mind too much though, but then it got pretty extreme. One time we went to the school dance, and she wore a fancy dress. The problem was that it revealed her body a lot more than her usual clothing, and people were commenting on how skinny she was. When she asked me what would happen if she kept abstaining from eating, I said that she could get very sick and die. I couldn't lie to her. She started crying, and we had to leave. I felt like such a shithead, but I suppose it was for the best. I brought her home, and I had to sit in her room for about an hour, while I had to pretend like I couldn't hear her crying to her parents in the other room. Just about the worst night in my life.

After that, I made sure that she got straightened out, and now she eats perfectly normally, and she's got a really nice sexy body now that I adore very much, so at least it's turned out to be a happy ending.

EDIT: Also, I believe that the biggest factor in an eating disorder is simply wallowing in your own self-pity. And I also know first hand, since I stopped eating for a long time a year and a half ago.

Yes this "disease" is a joke and so are the people who suffer from it.

Of course it's a psychological disorder, you idiot. It's a psychosomatic disorder, psychological, in the mind, by definition. It's not like it's a disease transmitted by bacteria you can catch. You don't have the slightest understanding of what a mental disease is. Are people with schizophrenia just attention-whores because they have a psychological disorder? Are those who suffer from amnesia really just under the influence of a made-up condition? Those with severe clinical depression doing it for pity?

Heart disease is barely seen outside westernised countries either. Any degenerative disease linked to age is pretty much never seen outside western society. Nobody gets leprosy outside of non-western countries. Practically nobody suffers from koro in western countries (you could count the number of cases on two hands); that's another purely psychological disorder, but it doesn't happen here. That proves that it's just attention-whoring, right? This is all because our societies are different, and as such are conducive to the contraction of different diseases and disorders, physical as well as mental. That anorexia and other eating disorders are a "fake disease" is a claim going against all current medical and psychiatric knowledge; to claim you know better is arrogant and, more importantly, fucking stupid.

And your last statement is completely contradictory. You claim that people only have eating disorders for attention, and then that they hide their "fake" problems? You're seriously claiming that people fake an illness for attention, and then hide it away and don't tell anybody?

Still want to claim that you know better?

Cute. You think you're educated.

There is strong evidence that anorexia nervosa also has a genetic link; as with other mental disorders, there is no specific "you have anorexia" gene, but there are genes which can give an individual a predisposition to the disorder, be it a weak or strong predisposition. Sociocultural factors are only important in that they might elicit an expression of someone's pre-existing genetic predisposition." - Click. (http://tinyurl.com/yukxja) Or how about this (http://tinyurl.com/yoyu8g), which shows a huge increase in the contraction of the disorder when it has appeared previously in the family. Or here's another link (http://tinyurl.com/2yb3o7), which finds that the causes of the disorder are more than 50% due to genetic factors. Here's another link that shows that a twin of an anorexic is also very likely to be anorexic; results have been surprisingly consistent in showing a substantial genetic contribution to anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa as well as to the traits that are associated with these disorders." (http://tinyurl.com/292duo) I could go on, there are plenty more links. So before you want to make baseless claims, try not being retarded (as you yourself put it).

Oh, and if you'll click here, prevalence of eating disorders in non-Western countries is lower than that of the Western countries but appears to be increasing." (http://tinyurl.com/2elk3k) And a quote from the American Journal of Psychiatry; "Anorexia nervosa, once thought to occur only in affluent societies, has now been documented across the globe. Although neurobiological factors have been implicated in the emergence of anorexia nervosa, there is evidence to suggest that social factors play an important role as well." Of course the incidence of eating disorders in westernised countries is greater, it's partly due to psychosocial causes and these are much greater in these societies, skinny women are portrayed as desirable everywhere. But to claim that it doesn't happen at all in non-western countries is ridiculous.

So, is using schizophrenia (not to mention all the other varied examples I used that you completely skipped over) to counter your example retarded? Considering anorexia nervosa (and others) have a genetic component and don't only occur in western society, the exact reasons you said it was different from schizophrenia or other mental disorders, I think not. In fact, I think you're an idiot.

Anything else?

This doesn't mean its not just a cry for attention.

I look at myself in the mirror and I look like a straight up-and-down beanpole. I don't even mind about having small tits, I'd just love some womanly fat and curves.

I suppose it's a case of always wanting what you don't have.

Sometimes I worry I'll forget to eat (usually I have a small apetite.. or it varies from loads to hardly anything day to day) and end up looking like a sheet of skin haphazardly shrinkwrapped over a frail skeleton.

DO NOT WANT!

I totally agree. My friends have even gone as far as to make me another lunch and force-feed it to me. I appreciate the attention and all, but with them constantly chiding me about being a stick, it's giving my confidence a real shove downwards.

It's not as if I WANT to be thin at all, I just am. What I really want is to GAIN some weight. I'm just too lazy to actually go and do it.

I don't know anyone else with my same situation in real life, though. Everyone wants to lose weight all of a sudden. It just seems so wasteful to me considering how much I want to gain it.

You're not a stick. My opinion is far more qualified than theirs (being male and all)! Yes, you are thin; but you're just fine as you are. The only reason I'd want you to gain weight is for your own health.

Although I don't have an eating disorder anymore, I use to suffer from bullimia.

But then people started freaking out and I needed another outlet for my pain. Another way to somehow control something in my life.

I turned to cutting. I have a total of 47 (and counting) scars. They are everywhere on my body.

Contrary to popular belief, I don't do it to kill myself, I do it becaause for one minute of my life I feel physical pain instead of my emotional pain.

I'm 15 and my boyfriend hates that I cut. It hurts him and I hate to see him hurt, but everytime I try to stop, everything gets built up because of lack of some sort of release.

Anyone else a cutter?

I can't help but wonder though. Why CUT? Why not something else? Digging your nails into your flesh, perhaps? Maybe just punching a mattress till you're so frustrated with not being able to break the thing that you forget sadness? Not that I support what you're doing, but there should at least be an alternative. Cutting can't be all that safe in certain places on your body. (ie: wrists)

First of all, you're not a cutter, you just slice yourself because you heard about it and thought it would be cool.

When you mature a little, you'll realise that it really was a pointless endeavor. You're not actually achieving anything. You're just being lame.

So what changed your opinion?

quote:I'm sorry if anyone thinks I'm a stupid naive kid. But unfortunately I've seen more and experienced more than a lot of girls will ever have to go through.

What's with the self-pity? If you look at the big picture, you actually have it pretty good. I mean, you have electricity and a computer for one. A boyfriend for another, something a lot of girls your age would kill for.

Not to mention nobody called you a stupid naive kid. So where did that come from? Think about that.

quote:[b]I do it because I need to make sure I can still feel.[b]

That's the oldest excuse in the book. What, after each time you completely forget? You know that's not why you do it, you just choose to believe otherwise. Akin to tricking yourself into believing in a religion you know nothing about.

I've been where you are, and I know what it's like to be completely devoid of emotion, in particular happiness. But the fact of the matter is, with a little self-discipline (oh, totally non-rebellious huh) you can work through it.

Basically you're acting like a child, and your rationalisation for your actions are illogical, not to mention most everyone can see right through it.

You're not that special, you haven't been through more than everyone else, and you're not a prissy little princess that anybody, apart from the people you're hurting, actually care about.

So take care of yourself, because nobody else will, and be positive.

This thread wasn't for emo attention sluts to post pictures of where they scratched themselves. That has nothing to do with eating disorders. Nobody here is posting pictures of the tupperware vomit buckets they hide in their closets, or pictures of their bony hips poking through their skin. Damn boy, I hope you're alright.

Heh, yeah, I've been trolling this thread. I'm not even sure if I have an eating disorder, I mean, it's mostly just that I don't take care of myself, binges, alot of binges. It's nasty and gluttonous, but I don't feel ike I have the 'eating disorder mindset.' It doesn't control my life or who I am, I'm not healthy though - and that's probably bad enough. but I'm getting better.

Freshman year of high school, I got help at a hospital, and have been okay since. Have gained weight, and I feel pretty okay about myself now.

It really does effect relationships, because girls always think guys are judging them on appearance, when they really don't care, if they really love us...

I think you went a little over the top on gaining weight, if you know what I mean. You're pretty heavy, and by pretty heavy I mean you're a behemoth.

But you have to ask yourself this. Why are you the only person talking about their cutting problems in a thread about eating disorders?

It's quite likely you've designed this reaction.

Also, I am trying to help you. You're not listening, or answering my questions. You don't want to be helped.

Sure it does. It is all up to my own interpretation. If I think she has wronged me enough to deserve death, I am going to kill her. My reason might not be enough for you to kill someone, but that doesn't matter. I have the power to kill, just as you do. I can choose to use it however I want.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean for anybody to cry. But it is sad, and it's frustrating - because there are so many girls out there who are sick, and I say girls, but guys too, and I have no idea what to do about it. I'm not even sure how to help myself alot of the time. Cheer up, I've always liked you, you have good advice, and good posts.

This is the internet sweetheart, and more specifically, it's totse. A large percentage of the people here have most likely been fuck around alot more than you have. Personally I have to say I agree with whoever called you an attention whore, because you are the only person talking about cutting in a thread that deals with eating disorders.

I'm glad we have this thread in S&A though, because personally I've learned alot more about eating disorders from this, than I probably ever learnt in school. And from someone who's seen her friends suffer from eating disorders, it's very helpful.

But I can't stress enough how beautiful each and every one of you are.

I rambled.

To captain kirk, it's really nice to see you posting, I missed you when I took my totse break.

Once again you're actually skipping the real issue, and arguing tired philosophies.

You brought up her father's death just to hurt her feelings mate. Did you think before you said that? I don't think you did.

I know you must feel wronged by the world, but it's no reason to wrong anyone else. You seem to have placed yourself on the extreme edge of reason, and here I argue moderation.

You are arguing for moderation, but since when is anything dealt in moderation? To hurt her feelings? The comment I made wasn't because of any anger/revenge I felt towards Batgirl. I might of made a comment like that to get a point across.

Knowing Batgirl that is the only way that the point would of been made. If there is a task I am wanting to complete, or a point that I want to make. Why would I stop at the feelings of a stranger? I don't know her, and I never will know her. This isn't personal, maybe to you, but not to me.

YOU'RE FAT! AAAAAHAHAHHAAAAAHAHAH!!!!!AHAHAHA!!!!!!

Now Accept/Deny/Get Over it/Stop Lying to yourself. The end.

Simply enjoy.

For a more serious look:

People I've known with.. eating disorders... can only save themself.

For a definitive look:

Draino doesn't kill. Jump off a freakin building for your own sake.

My advice: Eat when you're hungry, then live it up. If you have no stomach (the kind that holds food for digestion) I wouldn't know why you're alive. Consult god? Now to read a few of these posts...

When you make personal remarks, you make it personal. Surely you can see that correlation?

I tried to be bulimic once. I didn't like it and couldn't make myself vomit. My ex used to be bulimic/anorexic. My other friend was anorexic for a year (freshman year) and still vomits occasionally. Bad shit.

Go collaborate with your other eating disorder buddies and think of some more dumb shit to say. You're a fucking joke.

Thats you. Yes. That is you. Now, recognizing this picture I can make a LOT of educated guesses as to your personality, the nature of your many insecurities, and your shallow justifications toward you nihilistic viewpoints. Nihilism.

Nye-eh-li-zum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nihilism

Read that little article.

When dealing with people on this website, a forum where the interchange of ideas is the main goal, you never seem to have a purpose, point, or meaning in any of your inane and undeservingly malicious arguments.

No intention of any nature that would suggest that you would have a shred of definable sympathy or empathy within you. Not even the desire to try and understand your fellow man...well of course you want to but are simply unable to. We all do. You seem to not discernably recognize any link between you and others acting selfish and antagonistically whenever possible. Why? As a human being you have the capability to shine light, truth, and reason upon situations yet you only seek to corrupt and nullify progress and reason.

Sadly, it is known that all external action is a reflection of internal turmoil leading me to believe that the only purpose you are aware of in this world is the most banal, primitive, and idiotic type of hedonism.Did your mom love you? Did your dad abuse you? Do you love yourself?

You, as a mass of pain lacking love and compassion, simply exude this internalized malice outwardly, in the only way that an idiotic coward can...the internet. Wow, you fucking hardass that threatens TEENAGE GIRLS on the net. Wow. Meanwhile being a psuedo intellectual with this and that irrational justification for being just a slimy, sniveling little cunt just because youre too scare to take a step back, and see yourself in the metaphorical (and hey, possibly physical) mirror because youre too scared to face yourself. All your flaws and insecurities.

And if you think for one second that hectoring a girl whose only crime was sharing her problems on an internet forum could EVER be a correct course of action...youve only proved what a sad, pathetic little fool you are who will undoubtedly lack the love of a woman for as long as he maintains his sad, pitiful internal afflictions. By the way, ya look like fuckin private pile in full metal jacket. Sad similarities...

Now I dont want to start this "IM a BADASS D00d in Realz LIFEZ" kinda talk but damn man...I've only loathed you. Yet I dont want to. And understand that you dont want to loath others either. Our only true enemy is ourselves. Come to the light buddy!

It is my prediction that you will post back and seemingly ignore my reasonable points commiting many logical fallacies along the way while seemingly refusing to think introspectively. Thats ok, however you look on the forum, but whats important is how you will feel inside.
