What pregnant women CAN'T do
I've heard a lot of things that pregnant women aren't supposed to do. Like eat salmon and get their hair dyed.
I watch a LOT of discovery and health chanel. There are a LOT of pregnant women on these networks. Not a single one has a hair-free vagina.
Is there some reason for these un-shaven, un-waxed pregnant women? Or do women just give up on looking nice when they're knocked up?

Re: What pregnant women CAN'T do
I reckon pregnancy is the one time a woman can tell herself it's okay to 'let herself go'.
I'm sure we've all heard pregnant women say 'well...maybe just another slice (or ten) of chocolate cake..I am after all eating for two now!!'
Which is complete crap, considering the tinyness of a baby, but whatever.

you know how your vagina is a lot closer, thus sort of tucked under?

Re: What pregnant women CAN'T do
i don't think there are any risks with shaving while pregnant, i think it's just them letting themselves go. the eating for 2 thing is crap though as another poster said, it just means more weight to drop once the baby is born, so basically getting fatter while you're already gonna be fat just means more work later on.

When it's clinical to the point where every potential sherd of sexuality is stripped from it.
But then, that's basic cable. You need the premium channels for the good stuff.

Some women like going au natural, or just trim.
And think how impossible it would be to shave between your legs, or even on your legs, with a massive bump in the way. true, there are other methods.. but it's not letting the side down necessarily.
I don't think hair dye is good anyway, regardless of whether or not someone is pregnant. Chemicals can go right into your blood stream through your scalp, and affect your body quite a lot.

Re: What pregnant women CAN'T do
First, i've never seen that movie. Flock you are a chick, but from a instinctive male point of view i wouldnt say pregnant women are attractive as womens use to men is for sex as to reproduce, it is impossible to get a pregnant woman pregnant thus they have no use. As for females finding them attractive, that's just disgusting.

If it were all down to instinct and usefulness, women would only find strong muscular men attractive(to protect them and hunt), and this isn't the case. Now we don't use instinct only to determine who we go with. The whole perpose of sex is to reproduce, but it is beyond that too. Otherwise if a woman went on the pill (simulated pregnancy) or got pregnant, she'd utterly lose interest in sex, since she'd be unable to get any more pregnant.

Yes, I wax. If I were ever pregnant, which I wouldn't because I don't want kids, I would still keep myself up.

Have you entertained the thought that maybe some of these women just aren't interested in shaving or waxing? It's not always a question of whether they are "keeping themselves up". Some women prefer to keep their hair. If I was pregnant, I would continue shaving because that is what I would want to do. I have a friend who continued shaving all the way through her pregnancy. People value different things and some women probably have better things to do than worry about whether we think they are letting themselves go while we watch them on cable...
Reading that back it almost sounds rude, but I didn't mean it to sound like that.

Re: What pregnant women CAN'T do
My girlfriend doesn't shave now and she probably won't start. She doesn't wax either. Are you saying that she's letting herself go?
Hair is natural and beautiful and to those who say it gets in the way, I've only had problems once or twice in the 1.5 years we've lived together. Whereas, when she did shave those few times, she got scratchy and that was far more unpleasant than a little hair.

Hair is natural and beautiful
An example of what I was talking about and Flock as well. Obviously your girlfriend isn't letting herself go. People have different routines of care for themselves.
I agree that hair is natural and beautiful. There's nothing wrong with leaving it alone.
I don't wear a lot of make up. So if I was pregnant and not wearing make up would that mean I let myself go? No..
The big belly would make things more difficult though, there's not really any arguing that!

I don't find underarm or leg hair on women offending at all.
I know a girl who complains to me that her boyfriend gets mad if she doesn't shave her legs every day. Well excuse me but if I wanted to go years without shaving, I would. It would be my choice alone. I prefer to be waxed or shaved because I like how it feels, and so I shave or wax. I feel no pressure to do so however and if I decided one day that I was going to stop I would expect it to not cause any problems.

As she said, the main problem is "it's hard to see down there to shave". Even with a mirror and a comfortable position, it is a hard thing to do. Hair around the pussy also keeps bacteria out and draws bacteria away from the body.
My wife had me shave her before she was due so she didn't look a mess.

Re: What pregnant women CAN'T do
I wonder how hard it is to reach over a big pregnant belly and carve a hair piece. I wouldn't even bother. In fact, I don't shave *it* unless I'm after cock that particular day anyway. Also, some men don't care / prefer hair? So I've heard, anyway. If a woman is usually waxed though, I don't see why she'd stop. It's not like she has to do anything - there are professionals. *shrug*

Aww thanks.
And yeah, if my boyfriend asked me to shave, I'm sure I would. If he asked me to do almost anything I probably would. If he started demanding that I shave, that's another story. The reality is that he would never ask me to shave because really I just don't think he cares about that sort of thing.
And to the "hairy muff burger" guy up there, you're saying that a bit of hair would result in you not wanting to pleasure your significant (or not so) other?
Most women don't look like wooly mammoths down there. I think it is reasonably safe to say that even those women who don't shave or wax and who expect oral sex do at least a little bit of maintenance. I can't guarentee this but I personally don't know anyone who does zero maintenace. Nobody likes to choke on hair...
