Well, today it happened. I was sitting back and she got close and leaned in and I took it. It's crazy cause I was so nervous, but you seriously don't think about advice, it comes naturally. Anyway the girl is great and all, but to be honest like 90% of the happiness was because this finally happened, not really cause I'm attatched to her. If you're gonna bash me, don't post. Anyway I just needed to share that

EDIT: You are 17...that's "ok" but, honestly, you need to get a lot more experience, as soon as possible. Otherwise, the whole 40 year old virgin thing may happen to you. Although there is nothing wrong with that per say...I don't think you want to go that route.

Kiss any girl you find at least slightly attractive that will let you kiss her/kiss back.

Once you do it a few times, your confidence will go up a lot, and then you won't feel like you are too far behind...sorta speak.

I had my first kiss when I was 15. My first kiss was actually a full-on makeout, and it was fucking disgusting. She was a horrible kisser. Sloppy as fuck.

I learned how to kiss from movies and TV, and I think I can honestly say, I'm a "pretty good" kisser. Not OK, but slightly above it, or a little more. I hope this is even a conservative estimate (which I think it is.)

So yes, you can learn how to kiss from movies/TV.

I've kissed quite a few, more than I can remember by now. I'm 18. I gradually improved after my first kiss, but after probably 5 times, I had it pretty much down.

If you ever have an awkward kiss, it wasn't necessarily your/her fault or you/her are bad kissers, a lot is about timing and intuition.

i always think what is the point of these how to kiss threads, as when the moment takes you, you are thinking about totse. well at least i hope you arent lol. you know what to do when the time comes

First time I kissed a girl I was pretty much passed out on her couch from too much weed and alcohol, and she pounced on me.

I just went with it because at the time I couldn't be arsed doing anything about it. And it was better than watching Lord Of The Rings or whatever the losers were watching.
