I was wondering how you ask a girl if she'll be your gf? Do you just come out and ask her or is there some special way you're supposed to do it?

I know how to ask them on a date and everything but I need to ask this girl to be gf.

well I know I missed the perfect moment of opportunity tonight because she was hinting at it soo much and I didn't ask because I when I ask her I want to ask her right and I doubted myself and my abilities(big mistake, I know) and let it slide....I oculd tell when she left that she was disappointed and now I'm worried that if I do ask her she won't accept because I didn't ask tonight

- hold her hand

- kiss her

- go on some date...

Things you can say:

- "wanna be my shortie?"

- (come straight out and say it) let's just get together, i care about you.

- (something along these lines) i never had a girlfriend before(or i never cared so much for a girl before), so do you think you'd like to be my first?

I'm in about the same boat lol. I already know this girl likes me, we've already kinda had a "date", and I totally kissed her. I just need to kinda ask her out and formalize the whole thing. The words just seem kinda corny to me, I guess I'll just have to say it, no way around it.

I had this problem a few months ago. It eventuated with us just about to root, it was like the 4th date, and her just yelling "WHAT AM I TO YOU ANYWAY?!" and I didn't really know what to say, apart from "Uhhh... My... Girlfriend?" And she was all relieved. Then we broke up the next day. Good times.

So, just go along with the flow until it's certain to both of you that you're together!

Ask her if it's alright if you start introducing her to people as your girlfriend.

ANYWAYS, i agree with firekitty. i used to kiss lots of girls and they weren't my girlfriends. that doesn't mean anything. unless maybe the girl knows your kiss is special because you obviously have not kissed any other girls before her. ( i don't know if that's your case). anyway, what i did was asked my girlfriend out on new years... you know 1/1/07, 12:01. i was already seeing her for about 4 weeks at that point, and asked if she'd like to spend the rest of the year with me as my girlfriend. it was pretty smooth when i said it anyways. i'd reccommend going for a creative and sweet approach.
