there is no exact way to tell but it is usually between her last period and her new one.. but periods are not consistent so don't try it unless your ready to have a kid.

it is only good to use this method if you are careful with it.

first: from the first day of a girl's cycle (1st day of bleeding) she should take her temperature with a basal thermometer every morning and record. these results should be quite regular (assuming she is well), excluding her days of ovulation (which should be slightly increased). now she should record her days of ovulation and mark 5 days before and 3 after. these are the days that are the most fertile. all the other days are 'okay' to have unprotected sex on.

mind you, if the girl is irregular, this will not work.
