Okay so recently I've been kind of seeing this girl. Last 3 times I saw her (always out clubbing, but we keep in contact with messages too) we have hooked up, while dancing. I'm really into her- I'm a real sucker for a pretty face (she is absolutely gorgeous), and shes fun, and we connect.

Last night, she messaged me begging to come out. I met her at the club but lost track of her for a while, then we made our connection on the dance floor and after a while we were making out. Then the place closed and we had to go our seperate ways. On the ride home, I was pretty wasted and I was pissing my friends off with how much I liked this chick. You know, general drunken satisfied euphoria.

One of my friends was driving and after he had dropped everyone else off he pulled over, and got all serious. He asked me to find out this chicks last name, because one of our mutual buddies had recently (like two days ago) fucked a chick with the same first name. I messaged her to find out, and BAM its the same person.

This fucked me up so hard. Cause I was drunk, and a bit stoned, I fell so hard on my arse. I was so cut up about it... I can't remember the last time I felt so shit. I was physically sick. I messaged her asking if she knew my friend. She just said he was a player. Then, 10 minutes later, she messages again saying "I'm gonna get serious now. I've been played before, and if youre a player like toby im just not interested"

So basically she turned it on me- but I believed her, the way she reacted was so completely unexpected. We spent the next 20 minutes smoothing shit over, but I never actually found out whether they fucked or not. We both admitted we liked each other (zomg crush like high school) and left it at that. Anyway the next day (today) I was all "come out this friday its my buddies birthday it will be awesome", and shes keen as.

Later today, I was at the mall with some hombres, and I see her there, outside the movies, with some guy I've never seen before. She doesn't introduce us and just tells me she probably wont make it out friday night, but she will call me. All my friends are like "Dude, what the fuck? Now shes with ANOTHER guy?" and stuff. I get convinced shes just a slut, and msg her telling her not to bother ringing, that I know what shes going to say, I get it.

She messages back saying it was just her mate dave, and they were just walking past, not going to the movies.

I msg back asking if she still wants to talk, or doesnt it need saying. Waiting on a response.

I have absolutely no fucking idea what to make of all this. If she just wants to lead me along, then why would she go to this much trouble. She genuinely seems interested... But wtf is with all the other guys.

I kind of just want to forget about it, really wish none of this ever happened. So much effort eh. But I'm not really like other guys, I get attached to girls really easily. Way too easily.

Anyway, I'm half looking for advice half just needing someone impartial to spew all this shit out to. Yay totse to the rescue again.

You should respect what your friend has to say, but I have a rule that tends to save much emotional stress. No matter what I hear, I tell people that I appreciate their concern but I ask them to not tell me anything more, because they aren't involved.

Who knows, maybe your "player" friend was lying about hooking up with her.

Thats easy, tell her you want to meet up one night, then show her a good time, if she puts out thats night then you know she is justr after sex and not a relationship.
