Dinner and a movie (?) need suggestions
Well,
I've hooked up with a really beautiful girlfriend and I'm thinking about taking her to dinner (for sure) and <possibly> the movies afterwords next friday. I have one week to get ready for this in. I know it seems stupid to ask but this is my first time doing this. ANY pointers and suggestions will be appreciated..

Re: Dinner and a movie (?) need suggestions
First off, when you're explaining to her what you'll be doing, don't say "ooh, whatever you want, here or there!"
This is your thing, your date, she doesn't want to have to think and worry. Show her a good time and be decisive.
Be a gentleman, even make it a bit comical to thin out the cheesiness, but still, it's nice to feel special.
Make sure she's doing most of the talking, about 70/30. It's nice to have people ask questions about you and it avoids awkward silences if you have some questions on hand.
Fianlly, you're going to pay for her unless she puts up two objections.
I will pay
-Oh, no I can pay.
Are you sure? My treat.
-No, I'll pay my own.
Ok! :]
Good luck.

Take her to the movie first.
That way, if you run out of things to talk about, you can talk about the movie at dinner.

good idea. its so simple that i seem to have overlooked it.
but i absolutley hate the movies as a first date, its so impersonal, i wouldnt go the the movies at all. well i dont know where you live, so i cant suggest what movies are out at the moment. (im in australia) but it really should matter, as it depends on the personality of your date.
i personally would take her to a play or a theatre, its not so dark and not so loud, so you can stare at each other and its not as solitary as the cinemas
