i noticed alot of gay guys making reference to themselves as top or bottom or looking for a top or a bottom..... nebody know what this refers to it... i thought it might be like 1 gives it and the other takes it...

Yeah, it's pretty self explainitory. Top does the bumming and bottom gets bummed.
