It really depends on the situation and the individuals involved. Just wait until you're ready. If you're taking your ex's feelings into consideration, then I would wait longer, or atleast don't rub it in her face if you do find someone.

My ex and I dated for two years and when we broke up, it only took me about a month to move on, and seven months later I had a new boyfriend. I think that's pretty quick though, but our relationship was over long before it officially ended, so that's why.
