A conversation I had a week or so ago left me wondering, what do girls think of strip clubs? Some I've spoken to think they're perfectly normal, others think they're great, then there's the group that thinks they're sick.

Not really feel much either way.

I used to go weekly. I'd use them as a place to recover while I was on E. But now that they've introduced recovery bars, I have no need for titty-bars any more. Now I just go to the casino or something.

I've never been to a strip club. I have seen a documentary on stip clubs, filmed with hidden cameras and such. It is one of the most exploitative industries in the world. The guys who run the business make millions while the girls are basically low-paid prostitues under the 'front' of the club. Yes, there are laws to protect them from becoming sex workers BUT these laws are broken.

Wtf...Are you kidding? $5000 just for touching a stripper? That HAS to be bullshit. Granted, fingering her is crossing a line, but all the strippers here expect you to touch them. If the strippers are allowed to let you touch them, then the venue has a brothel license. Any place that doesn't have a brothel license have a two touch policy. First touch they have to make it very clear that it's not allowed. Second touch they have to report you to security. If they allowed a third touch, they will lose their job. This is good places.

I don't think much of the places at all really. I'm not that way inclined that I would, under any circumstance, hand over a large-ish sum of money to someone that works in a strip club.

Also I'm more of a 'it's not what's revealed, it's what's not revealed' kinda guy - So yeah any nice place with a healthy girl presence in it does me fine.

First of all, you guys are being idiots for arguing the rules of strip clubs in different countries. I'm sure Arquin is correct about the strip club laws in Melbourne, Australia, but there's no such thing as a "brothel license" here in Canada (or most of the States, to my knowledge, althought in the US it's set up on a state-by-state basis. I don't know the specifics there)

And I believe his story about banging a stripper on his birthday, because a friend of mine had that very same thing happen to him on his 19th, at a strip club here called the Penthouse. Although around here, there's different private rules from club to club as to whether you're allowed to grope the strippers during lap dances.
