Is it weird that I don't really enjoy it that much? I don't know, I might not be good at it, but I have a friend(the one I mention on Totse all the time) whose a guy, and he says he doesn't enjoy french that much either.

One of the biggest questions I have is where am I supposed to put my tongue? What is it supposed to be doing the whole time?

Anybody else just not see the point? I think kissing is much more intimate without the tongue.

I agree completely. Most teenagers seem to think that kissing is just trying to shove your tongue down another's throat and move it around, and I find that disgusting.

Kissing is so much better without using just tongue. It is a nice addition once in awhile, but not when it is halfway to your stomach..

Kissing is done with the lips. Tongue is for teenagers. Hit 20 years, and it should immediately become apparent.

I am a guy and..Tongue..I just don't like it really.

I mean my ex when i gave her her first kiss ever, I just kissed her normally then she wanted me to use my tongue..and I just don't like tongue..it...feels way world to me and less passionate than just a normal kiss.

I've never really been a big fan of tounge. Unless you're in the middle of a frantic love-making session, and you're tounges come out to meet in the middle, then it's kind of cool. But normally, its better off without the tounge.

You dance and play with your partner's tongue. You don't NEED to be anywhere. If it's not flowing rather fluidly and easily, you're thinking too much about it.

It's about being closer than you might be, and contacting with the sensory aspects of your inner mouth. You'll notice it turns women on really fast.

But, of course, if it's not for you then don't do it. But be prepared for a girl to slip you the tongue...

I also agree, I'm 17 and I find the idea quite bizarre, sometimes its best to go along with it though. It doesnt disgust me as such, just really weird. Plus it doesnt seem the thing do to in a moment of passion, kissing is great but tongues weird me out. But if I'm getting busy with some girl and she does it I dont pull her off say "sorry but would you mind not doing that" and restart. But I dont tend to initiate it.

I don't find it weird.. some people dont like french kissing, as well as some others do not like oral sex.. nothing wrong with any of this.

I feel better after reading these responses. to me, tongue kissing is just kind of whorey.

I like tongue but only in the first half of my girl's mouth. Nothing past that point. Maybe it's just me, but my tongue doesn't reach that far anyways.

Kissing seems pointless to me in general, with or without tongue.

Toungue is just uncomfortable and disgusting. It isnt vaguely enjoyable.

You can kiss passionately without the toungue.

Wow, none of you obviously know how to kiss. There's much different variations of tongue kissing all of which I like. Tongue is good.

Depends entirely how it's used.

Shoving it down their throat doesn't go well, and is sloppy and disgusting (cue 90% of teenagers).

To each his own, I guess. I remember the first time I was french kissed, I found it kind of shocking and gross. But I've grown to love it, as long as there's not too much tongue. Maybe you just haven't been kissed by the right person yet?

If done right kissing with tongue can be great. Fair enough, ramming it in there and wiggling it all around isn't attractive at all, but tracing your partners lips softly with the tip of your tongue is very nice. And in those passionate rip-of-one-another's-clothing type moments, a good french kiss can add to the feeling of animalistic passion. I like it plenty.

I like it but I don't do it the majority of the time, I do it when I'm getting more into makeing out.

I may be orally-fixated, but I wasn't aware that this was disliked by anyone. Takes all kinds, I reckon.

I love kissing in all its forms.

I like french kissing but not too over the top, there is an art almost to using tongues and you have to get the balance correct.

its because, in my case, my tongue is long and dextrous, and i can do a lot with it, including gentle massages.

think about it. the mouth and tongue is one of the most sensitve places in the body, and the kissing really completes the massage well. like a gentle caress.

although you do need to brush your tongue every day along with your teeth and maintain good breath.

in short, tongue is good.

Tounge is alright in small doses. I much prefer kissing without it.

I love kissing... with tongue. I would rather have a good make out session, then average sex. Hell, I gotta kiss if I wanna get it up. Personally, it sounds like we got some bad kissers on here, or at least people who hooked up with bad kissers. Tongue is about getting that little taste... well let me clarify, not taste like, "That hamburger tasted good," taste like, "What was that? I liked it and want some more!" If you are making out and your tongue goes out further then a half inch (rough estimation, just get a feel for what is good) from your own teeth, you are using too much tongue. Kiss with your lips, and use the tongue to give that little extra zing.

Then again, I have been told by almost every chick I kissed that I am an amazing kisser (not trying to be conceded, just giving a reason why I might vary from the majority in this thread), and for the most part they... weren't. However after a few make out sessions, they got drastically better. I guess the moral of the story is practice makes perfect.

Damn, talking about kissing reminded of this chick that kissed me once for about 5 seconds. That was the best damn kiss I have ever had, damn near nutted myself... I will really never forget that kiss.

I probably am a bad kisser when it comes to using my tongue. I'm not embarresed to admit that. But all of the advice on this thread I'm probably going to use, becuase it sounds like you all know more about it than I do.

Depends on what KIND of tongue we're talking about here. I've french kissed guys that thought it was a good idea to taste my tonsils. Needless to say, they never had another chance to try.

My favorite kind of french kissing involves soft touches of the tongue, for brief moments. Tongue tangling is NOT sexy, IMO. The only time it should ever escalate is when the passion of the moment is all-consuming, and even then, the tongue should never get much farther back than the teeth.

I'm probably not explaining this very well.
