Default So there's this boy...

Ok so there's this boy. I am in love with him.. and he knows that i like him. He is older than me. He says that i'm an "interest" for him, but he doesn't want to get into anything cause he's wanting a long term relationship. He doesn't get that that's what i want too. He also thinks that i'm not ready for a lot of things that he would be... and he is serioulsy mistaken.

What should i do? Any advice?

So you automatically assume that he's wrong because YOU WANT IT?

Yeah, you aren't ready for anything long term. Spend your childhood growing up, maturing, exploring, and not trying to pretend you're an adult with adult relationships.

In reality, he's looking out for you because you won't be ready for it, and he's sure. Understand that his judgement is almost certainly better than yours, and accept it. He doesn't want it, so that's just what you have to deal with.

Now, though, that's not to say that in a few years he'll still feel like this. In fact, in a few years he'll most likely feel much more open... Especially if you currently aren't of legal fucking aging.

See, this at the beginning lets me know your just a kid and KIDS only think theyre in love.

If you haven't had sex then you don't know what actual love is.

The first part of that was rather correct, while the sex part just made ME wonder if you knew what LOVE really was...

Seriously, sex has little to do with actual love. Sex is a part of a healthy relationship, but it's not love. It's sex.

I'm just going to assume that you're 13-15 and he's atleast 18.

He doesn't want a serious relationship because it would be akward between you, him, and his friends. They would probably make fun of him. You also don't have that much in common, either.

This is actually a very true statement. Sex puts a lot of things in perspective and makes you realize better the differences between lust and love.

Sex just shows you that there are more important things than sex. Not that love exists, or what it means. In fact, the only way to really know love is to have, and then lose it.

Just date somebody else if your younger then about 18 then keep all your relationships short term. You will learn a lot and you won't likely have to ask for help on a web forum.

a guy rule: "you dont go out with easy prey" if a girl is all over you and shit, you're not really gunna feel much for her, except pity. me, i go for girls that i really like, that dont jump all over me...makes the "hunt" more pleasurable

I've had a few sexual relationships, but if I was too be honest with myself, I was never "in love" don't get me wrong, I liked the girls and we had good times. But I wouldn't say I ever been in love.

I think people today, get love and infatuation confused with each other.
