I didn't think it exsisted, so I became pretty close with this girl that lives an hour away. We have been friends for a year now and have grown pretty close. When I saw her over winter break, I told her that I had feelings for her beyond friendship and she said she liked me as a friend.

Recently when I've been talking to her, it seems like she would consider a relationship, but she's been holding herself back, because we're friends.

So what can I do [short of alcohol and drugs] to get me the fuck out of her friendzone?

btw I don't have my license, but I'm getting it in april and rides aren't too much of a problem anymore.

Like I said she seems to consider advancing if I was avaible, so it is possible. I recently gave up drinking and I think she pretty much has too, so that isn't an option.

I'm not sure if I can jump into that, becuase she lives an hour away. I think I'm gonna take her to a concert soon and try it as a date. Then I'll just lay it out to her.

Isn't the friend zone a shit hole. Once your in you never get out unless your drunk. Besides getting her drunk I would suggest just using all your internal influence you can to get you and her past the friend zone.

I got out of it, and had a 6 month relationship with her. Still on and off now.

Manipulative maybe, but it's the only way. You girls who become our freinds make it very difficult for us to say we want to go further.
