Is anyone else like this?
I always hear people saying how they love/like one person, and then the next day it's someone else. This typically how most guys I know are, as well as several girls.
But, I'm not like that, granted I like to hookup with random girls, I only actually like one very rarely. So, when I fall for a girl, I fall HARD.
Is anyone else like me? That you have to wait patiently to find that rare girl/guy that you really like, hoping that they actually like you back?
Sorry if this is unclear at all, I tried to explain it as best as I could.

Re: Is anyone else like this?
Usually that's how most teenagers are (although more often than not guys just pass women around for sex, while women try and pretend that they don't care about sex and just call it "love").
Just wait until you're in college, and then look for something meaningful. Otherwise you'll end up being stuck with some high school bitch that doesn't want anything "long term"..
I'm not bitter...

Have you been dumped as of late or something Gus?
Anyway, most guys -more so the younger ones- can't tell the difference between love and infatuation. It's a useful thing to be able tell the two apart, unfortuantly for most it only comes through time and experience.
So just deal with the fact that 90% of people are slutbags.

Ah, the fine art of sarcasm and the even finer art of being a dick go far far above your head ToothlessJoe.

Sorry I'm getting olds now Gus. I feel like Rocky Balboa, once a great man, now defeated by being awesome for too long.

I am in college (Freshman), it's just that I am very picky about my women, some people say I should change. But, why go for a girl (at least for a relationship) that I don't really like?

That's exactly the point, and the problem. You want perfection, when really there are no perfect girls.
So, you'll have to spend some time searching your soul, and figure out what matters the most, and what matters the least.
Make a sliding scale for rating women. If they have a lot of what you like, rate them higher than you'd have if they only had a few of the things. Don't just discount a woman because she isn't perfect, because while your standards might seem reasonable to you, they're almost certainly too high for any woman right now.
And think about this, though... Are you even WORTH a woman that good? Are you, yourself, perfect too?

Re: Is anyone else like this?
Well I was exactly like that for a while..
I remember being with a girl that I really liked and I was so cut up about it.. because well she had been the one for a while.
Girls that I liked were often rare, but I'd get so into them it was unbelievable.. It was every day thinking about ways to get them to like me/fall in love with me yet believing I was never going to be good enough. Something always made them fall through in the end though.
Now there's just girls I get on with, like physically but it's been months since the last big WOW.. I WANT THAT ONE.

It not that I want perfection, and I know that I am not perfect. It's that, I only fall for certain girls, and I can't really explain why I do. It's just the way the way they make me feel amazing, and like I am on top of the world when I am with them. Especially the current one I am pursuing now.

Sounds to me like you've got exactly the problem I said... But though, if you've got a girl in your sights, don't blow it.
Go out, ask her out, and stop pussyin' out. She shouldn't be "pursued" longer than ten minutes if she's that "rare".

Re: Is anyone else like this?
Well.... kinda... I never pursue girls, but every couple of months one that actually interests me gives me vibes to go for it, and i end up falling hard for them... and not being able to stop loving them. It really kinda sucks, i end up seeming clingy and overemotional. Well, I am.
