Something that plagues me about lesbianism
So since I learned something in passing in my psychology class about pheromones and their supposed effect on menstrual cycles Ive wondered
.
Does the fact that Im sexually attracted to my girlfriend mean our pheromones are fucking up?
Ok so girls, you may have heard or noticed that when you spend time with other girls a lot you end up having the same cycle, like you all have your period on the same day. Maybe youve noticed at home with your sisters or your mom, or with your best friends or even at camp.
Im just trying to establish that this is a fact- Girls spend lots of time together they get their periods at the same time
Ok so. My girlfriend and I spend pretty much every fucking day together; we sleep together, and all but live together, however in the year and a half that weve been together, we still have never had a coinciding period.
So my question is, firstly, does any one understand beyond the explanation that females innately smell each others pheromones and that chemically changes their menstrual cycle?
And Secondly have any other lesbians on &T noticed something weirdly similar.

I never experienced the coinciding period thing when I was dating my ex.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Something that plagues me about lesbianism
I've known whole workplaces where the women have 'synchronised'.
Also , and even freakier, but men who cheat often discover that their wives and girlfriends suddenly synchronised..even if they are miles away and have never met.
No idea of the science but I guessing its something really old and limbic in origin. I assume that having all women fertile at the same time was an advantage to the tribe or something.

Yes, I lived with 3 girls and 2 guys a couple of years ago - and our periods al decided to sync. Last year I lived with one female and the same happened.

Re: Something that plagues me about lesbianism
hmm...i think its something buried deep within the recesses of our physiology. Well...womens physiology.
Lesbians see each other as mates therefore maybe it confuses the bodies into seeing the other as male?-ish? Or something...
