Convincing a Religious Virgin (Saving it for Marriage) to Put Out
All moral implications aside, any serious advice?
I'm just curious. Has anyone accomplished this before?
The girl I hooked up with on New Years Eve is a Catholic virgin, and she says she's saving it for marriage.
Now, I might still date her regardless, because I like her so far, and you never know... maybe she could be "the one"
Plus I don't care that much about sex anyway, this is all just out of curiosity.
I really do respect her decision, kinda. (I personally think it's ridiculous, but whatever).

I'm just wondering if anyone had any ideas, or has convinced a girl to change her ways before.
Seriously.

I believe that's why he said 'kinda'. He does not 'really' respect her decision. He 'kinda' respects it. You're a moron.
You should not allow yourself to be leached off of by any girl who coerces you into the trap that is a relationship, thereby depriving you of sex with anyone else, but at the same time not allowing you to have sex with her. Since you probably will ignore this advice, I will provide more. Convince her that she loves you more than anyone has ever loved another human being in all of time, and she'll put out. If she thinks she wants to marry you, she'll put out.
I'm amazed by the number of girls who consider wanting to marry someone a sort of 'loophole' in that whole no sex before marriage thing.

If she is a sincere believer and you do somehow manage to persuade her to have sex then you run a great risk fo her going 'schizo on you.
NO I am not joking , been there, seen that and had to instigate commital proceedings.
If you want to date her then please, please, please respect her beliefs on this one.

Re: Convincing a Religious Virgin (Saving it for Marriage) to Put Out
It's kind of weird. A lot of these goody girl bible thumpers seem to always be attracted to me. It kind of sucks some times, especially when I'm horny. They can be very deceiving too. Like they will be all over you and you know they want you, but then when you try to get down with them they reply "sorry I'm catholic" or something similar. Pisses me off.

Seriously, sex is just another aspect of a relationship that needs to be understood, especially before marriage. Those foolish "virgin until married" people don't seem to understand that they're going to get into bed, and have no idea what to do. It'll be especially horrid if they're with a non-virgin.
But really, people are stupid, and will do stupid things. I just wish more of those things would make them infertile, but meh... One can only hope.

Re: Convincing a Religious Virgin (Saving it for Marriage) to Put Out
By you saying its not a big deal, Im assuming you've just hit puberty. Which means you shouldn't be talking about "the one." That aside she'll put out if you go out with her long enough. The questiong is will she regret it later, and do you care? Almost all of them change their minds though. And if your convincing enough, then she probably wont regret it at all.
If you want to convince her, try telling her that alot of the bible's rules were cultural. The Bible has ox laws which nobody follows anymore. Back then there was no birth control and women didn't work. If a woman had sex she would get pregnant pretty quickly. Either her and the baby would starve or the family would be burdened. Anyway you get where Im going and Im sure you can add on to this if you care to. The trouble is finding a way to bring this argument up. After you bring this up dont try anything for a few days. Then wait till some time your making out and just let it progress. If it just progresses she will have a lot harder time turning you down.

That's actually an awesome movie.
And I guess you didn't grasp the ending quite well as he obviously felt remorse afterwards for what he had done (taking her virginity despite her strong beliefs).
And like I said, I don't actually plan on doing this.

That's right actually. I made it up. It's all made up! My life is 100% pure fiction.
I just do it for the attention.
Just because you NEVER have any personal experiences to contribute, does not mean that I am as sad and lonely as you must be if you have to accuse me of lying just to make yourself feel better.
Some people have lives you know... I suggest trying to get one.
quote:Originally posted by grungekid:

LOL.
I'm not going to flame you or anything, becuase I realize you must be new around here.
Anyway, I'm 22. She's 20.
I've had plenty of sexual & romantic experiences, so I know what I'm talking about when I say things about finding "the one".
I guess it's hard to express certain emotions (or to read them) over the internet, but I kinda meant it with a bit of a sarcastic tone to it. That's why I wrapped it in parenthesis.
In fact, I'm not normally one to talk of romantic love and monogamy and such things.
I was just pointing out that maybe, just maybe, there is a girl out there who can change my mind...
Once in a while, I'm willing to give it a chance.

Re: Convincing a Religious Virgin (Saving it for Marriage) to Put Out
I can't give you any advice really but dude...
Don't do that to her, don't take it from her. It may very well fuck her up in a really really bad way. Like uhm, hurting people is inevitable when you get into romantic shit, but dude that's something she can never get back and it will torture her for a long time.
Is it just because of the religion, or does she maybe believe in saving herself for that some special?
Seriously, I'm a guy and I'm not even religious anymore and don't need to go into details but... I've given my virginity away and I regret it. It bothers me every fucking day. It eats me up at times... No one should have to go through this.

I need a life? Bitch, you are the one who is on here writing about every misadventure you have. Who gives a shit. Everyday it is a new girl that you might be in "love" with, or if you have aids, that you haven't checked, you don't know what that red bulging thing is on your dick.
I am sure shit happens daily to everyone on here, doesn't mean you need to bring every little fucking detail about your cracked out life up. That is all I am saying.

Christ, do you ever read these threads other than your own?
Every time you ask this question you'll get the same response and probably rightfully so..
Don't try to change the girl's mind.
If she wants to.. in her own time, then sure.. maybe she'll bang you. Don't try to convice her otherwise just so you can stick it in her.
Next time..
Think about your thread?

I would imagine that a situation like this would be best fixed with some crazy technical stuff. You know, smoke and mirrors, some serious David Blane shit. You get all on some speaker in a bedpost, and tell her you're Jesus or something. Then tell her that she needs to have sex with you in order to bear the second coming. You'll be in like Flynn.

I've heard arguments like that before about the Bible, from the occasional "Christian" or "Conservative Jew".
The only problem is, that through that interpretation, beastiality was only banned because of expediency, as well as homosexuality and a ban on stealing.

Re: Convincing a Religious Virgin (Saving it for Marriage) to Put Out
In response to all the ones who are actually giving me advice... Thank you. Some of it seems very useful, and some of it quite entertaining.
quote:Originally posted by B-Phaze:

Honestly, I think it's only because you built it up to be such a major thing that it does this to you.
Same with every other person who frets so much about the whole virginity issue.
I mean, my first time sucked. It definitely could have been better. But I don't dwell on it anymore, nor do I even regret it.
But I guess it's different strokes for different folks.
If she's accustomed to believing that her virginity is "sacred", then she will probably have just as many regrets...
quote:Originally posted by Rocko:

I have definitely taken that into consideration...
It's part of the reason I still haven't called her yet.
quote:Originally posted by CarbonB:
I need a life? Bitch, you are the one who is on here writing about every misadventure you have.
There is a point to every thread I make. They are all original and pose a question. It's not like I'm using totse as some kind of blog service...
If that were the case, I'd be making threads daily.
Find another thread that poses the same question this one does, and maybe I will take what you say into consideration...
quote:Originally posted by ZeroMalarki:

What?? How is this in any way like any other thread I've made??
Most of my encounters are with non-virgins... Especially the most recent ones...

She seems to nice (& innocent) to say that to her. At least so far...
Who knows what she'll turn out like...

How so? I'd actually really like to know how I come off as pathetic (other than what I already admit to)...
Or are you just reiterating a popular opinion (see: CarbonB)?
Besides, I figured this would be a somewhat original thread that could lead to some interesting conversation.
I'm pretty sure that some girls do change their views on virginity at some point in their lives. I want to hear some real life experiences.

Sit her down, look her in the eyes and say
"Sex is a sin, and sins are bad. But something else a sin is, is forgiven. So lets stick it in eh? "
But really don't go trying to fuck up her own decisions in life.

At some point I must really sit down and write an "Old Perv's Guide to Getting Into Young Christian Girl's Knickers".
However suffice for the moment to say that RATIONAL logic and argument will NOT work.
You can forget all that 'that was then and this is now' kinda debate.Or trying to 'trip up' her beliefs with carefully crafted pseudo-theological points.
There ARE ways but they all still carry a lot of risks.

C'mon Gadz,
D'ya really think there is going to be a set of instructions on how to sucessfully decrease the waiting time before fucking a religious girl?
Now, the fact that she says she is waiting until she is married is all fine and well, but it is unlikely that her religious beliefs or her ultimate respect for the sanctity of marriage is a factor here. This has probably been pumped into her head by her parents from a young age, possibly by her school too... then the joys of priests and nuns, forcefeeding shit and brainwashing.
If you really like her, stick with her. Keep your dick hidden and play things at her level. Don't be thrown off the scent by some girl holding your hand at the cinema, and try to stay off the streets at night. Maybe she'll bring out a new man, a changed gadzooks!

Every person has a horniness level. Once, in their mind, that level is reached, they will fuck the other person silly.
Guys levels are pretty low...
Girls are higher, but not insurmountable.
All you need to do is get her horney enough to forget her religious beliefs. If you can't do that, you had better learn.

Yeah I'm starting to realize that. Even with the sex aside, I don't think I could date a girl like this long-term. Her strong beliefs would probably become too frustrating. I can't stand heavily devoted religious people.
I just figured that maybe, since she's still kinda young, and also kinda naive (from what I can tell, she lives a very sheltered life compared to someone like me... example were how brought up in conversation between us, and how she reacted to certain things at the new years eve party where I met her, etc), that maybe she could change.
But I guess that brings about a whole new topic of debate. Is it wrong to change people's religious views if you really disagree with them? (Rhetorical question)
I mean, there was a point where I went to church every Sunday, and actually believed in things like god and heaven and hell and all that. But that was a long time ago.
quote:Originally posted by Docta?:

See, this is what I tried to point out earlier but everyone ignores it and accuses me of being an evil, selfish asshole, out to satisfy only my own needs without any regard for other peoples' feelings.
I like to give things a chance, and try new things. I am open to change if I am properly persuaded.
quote:Originally posted by CarbonB:

It's Buddhism*
You should know that, being as fat as the bronze Buddha statue itself.
Now gtfo. I don't discuss every facet of my life, only the interesting parts.
(Before you go on to say something along the lines of them not being interesting, look at how many replies my threads get... They can't be that boring.)
And even on top of that, this isn't about me, I guess I made the OP too personal.
I should have just asked: "Has anyone here ever convinced a religious virgin who was saving it for marriage to have pre-marital sex?"
I just happened to add a personal experience to it, so now everyone things this thread is about me...

That is actually quite true. I have been noticing this alot lately.
I realize now that persistence goes a long way. I used to think my friends' advice to "just get her horny, play with her clit, don't stop at the first signs of no, etc" was just ridiculous and would get me slapped or a rape charge or something.
Then I realized that they were actually right.
In most cases, if I've already got the girl in bed with me, then I know that she's at least interested in me, and that all I have to do is get her to "that level", and I'm in.
I'm probably giving this virgin girl too much credit. I doubt she's any different.
We all have that one point, that level.

Building up her horniness level should start from the first time you see her, and continue on all the time.
Your goal is for her to think of you, and think of sex. Think dirty jokes, sexual innuendo's, anything that will arrouse her even slightly.
She needs to see you as a sexual, dominant type guy, that is good fun to be around. Don't beg. Don't be a wussy. Just have fun.
So long as you don't fuck it up, the effects should be cumulative, and she will end up ripping your clothes off and fucking you silly.
The very fact she brought up the "no sex till marriage" shows she is already thinking about it... you just need to build on that.
Of course, most guys fuck it up at some stage - I know I generally do.....lol
Cheers

I'm against it. You shouldn't try to convince someone to do something they believe is wrong; it takes away from their perception of self control and power.

You put pussy on the pedestal. Every thread you make is about getting laid, or how to get into a girl's pants, or should you get into her pants. There's more to life.

Lol, that is a good point.

Yeah that's true. It happens to the best of us.
I can tell you know what you're talking about though, which is good.

In my opinion, sometimes people are wrong and just need to be shown the light.
There is an underlying theme to this thread that shows that. As I keep mentioning, I believe that monogamy and "romantic love" are wrong and go against humanity.
I'm actually willing to give her the opportunity to prove me wrong. So why can't she be open to me proving her ways wrong? (And by proving, I mean by the way of gentle persuasion and showing, and not so much by persistence and force).

You miss alot of the main points in my threads apparently.
1) I really don't even like sex that much.
2) This thread isn't about me, as I have already stated.
3) I don't seem to have a problem getting laid. Obviously a Catholic virgin is going to be a bit more difficult to fuck though.
4) Of course I'm going to post about sex in a sex forum. What the fuck? I could start posting off topic threads in S&A if you really want to see the many layers of gadzooks...

Because this isn't about ideas. Hers is a fundamentally irrational position, one that could only be truly changed by an abandonment or significant alteration of her faith. I really don't see that happening. Irrational positions are part of a person- they aren't something anyone keeps an open mind about. Faith, by its very nature, isn't something that breaks if you see that it should or if you want it to on some level. It takes a kind of epic confrontation to do that, one that I really don't think any one person can provide.
The only way I see this playing out is that she is convinced on an emotional level, rationalizes it just enough, and has sex with you, while still believing it to be wrong. When something like this happens, unity of self is broken. You don't trust yourself anymore, because your will and actions begin to conflict. You become powerless until you can reconcile your beliefs and actions.
What I'm saying is that if she still believes the whole sex until marriage thing to be wrong (almost inevitable, unless her faith was extremely weak to begin with), by continuing you are taking a piece of her will away from her.
It has nothing to do with the act itself. It's only how she percieves it. If it was something like... eating walnuts, for instance, it would be the exact same thing if she felt that way about it.
How would you tell the difference between rationalization and a genuine changing of heart if your goals are achieved either way? No matter how you go about it, you risk hurting her.

Re: Convincing a Religious Virgin (Saving it for Marriage) to Put Out
Mother fucker trying to compare me to the Buddhist statue, and then on top of that trying to get onto me about a spelling lesson. Then even on top of that tries to tell me that I am as fat as Buddha. You really are an ignorant asshole. I've also pointed out how you have more replies in your own thread than actual people replying.

You're having the same problem as in your threads before this one. You ask for help, and when people give advice, you always have a come back or some reason not to listen to it... why even bother?

The girl......is a Catholic virgin.
Not a chance you'll convert her. Catholics as a rule are pumped full of so much religeous guilt that the very thought of doing anything agains the bible sends you to hell. I dated a girl like that before. I dind't have a problem with it. She accused me of feeling her up, IN CHURCH. I dind't do it, or anything close to it. Like I said, religeous guilt.

I see what you're saying now and I agree.
I actually don't know the extent to her faith, since I only had a brief interaction with her (several hours at most), so if anything, I would at least maybe test the waters, and uncover the actual levels of devotion she maintains in regards to her religion before proceeding with anything that might cause her to go against her will (thus leading to regret and lack of self-trust like you said).
Like I said before though, I was once a Christian, and a lot of things, but at some point changed my views, even in recent years.
So I guess it depends a lot on how devoted to her religion and her views she truly is.

I actually specified in the beginning of the thread that I wasn't exactly looking for advice. I later on even went into more depth about the true nature of this thread. You still think it's about me...
This isn't a "I need advice" thread. For the millionth time; this is a general discussion thread (related to sex/affection, which is why it is here).
Not about me.
