Default This Kind of fits under the affection category

This is not another post that tells the story of how i left my girl want her back or am quiet and want to get teh leet chicks . Nor is it a post asking other members of totse to photograph their genitalia.

You see heres the thing right . Recently (six months ago) I have moved from England to New Zealand , and dont get me wrong it is a great country despite a severe lack of readily available marijuana . And i have felt homesick from time to time but have made some good friends over here.

I have a job friends money in my pocket but there is only one thing in the world that i want. My Dad , i know that sounds a little pathetic but posting in a recent thread brought it to life again.

He would always make me feel happy when i went round his house had a smoke and a few beers tell me things were alright gave me advice on women and the world y'know.

I just seem to be without a life-line at the moment .

Has anyone else experienced this ? ... Does it ever pass ?

1.This very much fits in under 'affection' so no worries. Infact I wish we had more such 'non-sexual' affection threads.

2.Pay for your Dad to fly out/fly back for a week or so yourself? Sorry that's about the only advice I have, beyond a good webcam and skype connection.

(and if your Da' ain't got a computer then sort one out for him.)

Does it fade? Yeah kinda...with time. But there's always a hole and regrets.

You're full of shit man! Getting bud in NZ is unbelievably easy. I could get me a tinny with one text. Clearly you just havnt met the right people yet or don't know of any tinny houses

What part of NZ you in?

It's hard in some parts, trust me.

Is your father back in England? Are you here with family or by yourself making a new life?

You from NZ too? Here in Hawkes Bay the buds are brilliant and plentyful

And to the OP, yes I think it will pass. As you make new friends and girls to take your mind off things, everything should look up

It sounds like you struck it lucky as far as fathers go, I dont have a clue what you can do about that. But it you want bud you should probably move up here to West Auckland where the sativa's grow wild and free in the beautifull waitakere ranges.

Honestly, this has nothing to do with not finding bud or any of that. You're homesick, plain and simple. You're thousands of miles away in a different country, way outside of your usual comfort zone, and you're craving a little bit of the familiar. It takes a long time to adapt to a new country, even if it isn't that radically different from your own.

I've experienced this often when I'm on the road, and the only cure is the passing of time or a visit back home. If you can push through another six months, it'll start to fade into the back of your mind as you become more settled into your new home. In the meantime, spend as much time possible exploring the country and meeting new people. Keeping active is the best way to fight it.
