can't possibly be herpes?
I'm 18, and I have recently been recieving oral sex from a co-worker.
I noticed that I have 3 small sores on the base of my penis, that are a little tender.. I've done some research ( and she said she didn't have anything, I dont think she ouwld like?), and looked at some pictures, and It doesn't look like it.
The sores look like infected hair follicles or something, maybe...Because they are at the base of the hair.
can anyone tell me what they think? should I go to a doctor? should I let it it for a few days and see?

Re: can't possibly be herpes?
Go to a pharmacy and ask for hibiclens, they should give it to you without a prescription. Put it on through showering twice a day, and if it goes away, it was probably nothing. Don't waste your money. Change your soap, maybe something antibiotic for a while.

Hibiclens is what a doctor who diagnoses infected hair follicles will prescribe. SWIM had the same thing. If it does not go away after you've gone through a 20ish ounce bottle, you need to see a doctor because it could be an antibacterial resistant form of staph, or something like herpes.

Go anyway. If it happens to be herpes it's gonna be 10 times worse by tomorrow.

Re: can't possibly be herpes?
That decision is up to you. I submit that if it is hair follicles, like your investigation has lead you to believe, I've saved you a trip to the doctor.
However if you need to definitely know (it starts to affect your sleep or love life) about it, I would say go.
