Just curious if everyone's going out or doing anything exciting today...clubbing, going out for dinner, etc...

The plan tonight, is to go to Beatnik Bistro (best place in town I hear) with my BF, and enjoying several Jazz (Chicago style) bands, and possibly go out dirty dancing after that, not sure if I'm gonna be able to get in, and then going over to his place w or w/o his friends.

What are you guys doing for new Years ?

Probably gonna go hang out and try to find some alcohol with some friends. Hopefully get some pussy while I'm at it.

I'm stuck working, yet again.

We get to jam out with senior citizens to some of the greats from the 40's and 50's.

And at midnight on the dot, I get to stand on the dance floor and pull the string that causes a couple dozen ballons to fall down in celebration.

Lame party. Giant house. No booze cuz I'm sick. I might just pop some valium and see what happens, but I'm not sure that's a good idea either. Meh. Just see where the night takes me, I guess.

a 40 of rye, a gram of coke, some ecstasy and no girlfriend around thanks to her parents not being able to find a babysitter . I just might drop by her house at around 4AM or so..

what is an acid fondue party? i'm assuming acid is on the menu...but where does the fondue come into play with that?

Well.. I don't mean to brag about my amazing plans, but we'll just say that I've already put the sparkling cider on ice and the puffy Cheeto's in the bowl; May even blow a noisemaker or two with an amazing little girl and charming enough fiance.

Well I had a glass or so of Champus with the Trouble 'n Strife and the kids (except eldest who had some blue colored vodka fruit juice shite).

I had forgotten that real champagne head rushes...so middle son was wheeling himself around , after 2 glasses, giggling to himself "itzzz" *hick* "got bubbblezzz"*hick* (and yes he is used to alcohol normally).

Then the wife and i watched 'Gone in 6o seconds'....for the 5th time I think.

Worked till 10:30, drove some friends home, met up with my girl and some friends, drove around trying to avoid the police, went back to my house and enjoyed some 68% Absynth then i remember feeling VERY spaced out, and I had a numb mouth.

However, I do remember being able to blow a flame ball.

Then there were to many people in my house to have sex, so we went to bed.

Tonight was great, he picked me up, and even though we got there an hour late, our reservation was still kept and the menu was delicious...it all round up to 177 which is not bad at all for us two, the wine was good. A tasty floral red..and the main entres were fucking amazing(I was surprised that i was stuffed after a light salad, light entre (two rectangular pieces of med-rare beef stacked between a hashed browns taste a like , served with saulted and simply torched asparagus, yellow and orange carrots and two cherry tomatoes with topped with this succulent vinigrete. After talking and eating, and listening to the wonderful jazz musicians and singer (2.5 hrs) we drove to his place, made fast love during the "countdown" and the scurried into his car around 12:20 on the way home...i slept in his arms during the ride and we fondled eachother, I think the wine made me tired, oh and the bread was so tasty with this butter which had champagne and maple added to its contents, best butter around.

Overall it was a fabulous experience, and we'd definitely find ourselves back at Beatnik, very simple, and elegent, yet posh and inviting.

The pricing wasn't bad as well, at 75$ each for a four course meal, we only had three, without soup and were stuffed, and 20$ for two glasses of wine. Well worth it. Hope you guys enjoyed your new Years as much as I did, for it is the simple things that make the difference.
