Default Just in time for NYE: The Guide to Clubbing(LONG)

Now I am going to start off by saying I know there are countless threads like this, because half of S&A is losers whining how they can't get a girlfriend.

Well listen, I have some much-needed help for those of you who really want to hook up tonight, but just haven't had the experience or the confidence. Whatever your situation, this might be a useful thing to read.

-Where to go: Get yourself to a club. If you are over your legal age wherever you are, not a problem, but I guarantee that if you are at least 16 there are youth clubs everywhere. Either way, get a good wingman(preferably someone good looking). I wouldn't recommend bringing female friends, because you won't dance with anyone new. Make sure you dress well, and I mean well. No suits or stupid shit like that, I mean designer or something expensive but casual. I recommend Armani Exchange.

Oh yeah. And pick up a pack of squares on the way, they'll come in handy.

Now, what to do -> Get to the club 20 minutes before it opens. Get in line near the front a just chill. When it opens, get inside and get a table(so much easier when you have somewhere to put your shit). So, now you want to dance, huh? OK. Now is the reason you got here early: Drunk chicks. From high school to college age, many people "pre-game" before clubbing, and get there really trashed. Do you smoke? Of course you do. Stand against the wall and just chill and smoke for a while, just to survey the scene. Often, if you look good, you will be approached by a semi-intoxicated girl. If one doesnt come to you, just look around for girls not there with guys. Just walk up to them and start dancing.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER: People go to clubs to meet other people. They do not want to dance with their girlfriends all night. They want to dance with a guy, and why not you?

After you are dancing: Grind, slow dance, whatever. Either way, your hands should be somewhere near her hips, and you should be really close. Do this for a long time, and she will take care of everything.(btw, girls like it when you put your head really close to theirs when their back is facing you).

Now she wants to kiss. You can tell because she turns around and dances with you front to front. Now comes my favorite part. When a girl wants to make out badly, she will often start sucking and nibbling on your neck. When she stops, go in for the kiss.

WOOW, that took forever to type. Either way, I hope it helps you guys out. Feel free to add anything more to it, or just make comments in general.

Peace.

Not bad, although personally I always prefered the straight forward and very effective "hi babe, do you want to fuck?".

Maybe I went to the wrong kind of clubs though

I'm a really confident guy i guess, so I usually do something like just approach and start dancing or talking. For everyone else though, especially on S&A where there seem to be a lot of guys with low self-esteem, I thought the guide would be nice.

Blown to much of me time

Buyin' Dinner and Wine

And me money on flowers and lollies

Only to find

That what's on me mind

Isn't on hers and she's sorry

So I've made up some lines

That save wastin' time

And keep me from blowin' me brass

I'm ever so cool

I just prop on me stool

Right next to hers and I ask

Do you fuck on first dates

Does you Dad own a brewery

Could I feel Your tits

Or would you show 'em to me

Cause you've got a nice head

And you look pretty honest

So me face'll be leavin' in quart of an hour

I'd like you to be on it

You know how it feels when you first meet a sheila

And the bullshit you gotta go through

Like callin' her up

An' tellin' her you love her

When all that you'd love is just a screw

But she wants to hold hands

And meet her old man

And sit around for hours and talk

But me new method is, you just cut through the shit

And get down to the goodies straight off

Do you fuck on first dates

Does you Dad own a brewery

Could I feel Your tits

Or would you show 'em to me

Do you sleep in the nick

Do you give head very often

If we can decide you place or mine

We can fuck off then

You know how it feels when you first meet a sheila

An you'd give a weeks pay to hold her

Don't sit actin' dumb

Just front her full on

and drop a few lines that I told ya

This new method of mine

Doesn't work every time, but then again no method does

I've been spat at and slapped

and need in the nackers

But then I've got a few fucks as well

Do you fuck on first dates

Does you Dad own a brewery

Could I feel Your tits

Or would you show 'em to me

If the answer is no

to me questions above

Then be a good sport and give me the name

Of a girlfriend who does

So to sum up what you said.

1.Go to club

2.Dont look like a turd

3.Dance with a girl

4.kiss her

Gee, thanks a lot for that. Well, I guess it might help some people here.

Make something like "how to dance at clubs guide". That way, nobody won't look like a retarded or too under-confident, or both. Anyone can tell someone is under-confident by the way they dance instantly.

I have something to add that usually works pretty well for me..

I also don't smoke cigarettes unless I'm out at a club or party, and I make sure before I go out I have a full pack on me. Drunk girls always want to smoke for some reason, so they'll ask you for a cigarette.

Now, in order to pull this off, you have to be able to say it in a not-so-serious kind of flirty joking way, but it works.

When the girl asks you for the cigarette, I usually say something like "it's 50 cents per cigarette and 10 cents per flick on the lighter but tonight it's free in exchange for your phone number....pretty sweet fucking deal."...

like I said, it's how you say it that matters most, and it won't work for girls who are regular smokers and just looking for a smoke.

Unfortunately I think your advice, while probably sound, will never be utilized because the same people who bitch about their problems frequently don't have the confidence to do things that appear to them to be crazy (e.g. walking up to somebody you don't know and dancing with them, asking somebody for their number).

I dunno, it's kind of hard to explain. I just think that your guide is more good tips for frequent clubbers than lifestyle changing steps for people with no girlfriends and no lives.

Ugh. I need to go smoke something.

Yeah, me too. Haven't been high in a week

Very true, but the thing is, I wasn't always confident. I used to only dance with my friends and generally be a tard a clubs. But really, all it takes is one dance with a random girl to realize it doesn't mattter for shit what you do, because you'll probably never see anyone there again.

Meh, I party to party, not to pick up chicks. If a end up having some fun with a girl that's just a nice bonus. I don't much care for actual clubs either, the underground is where it's at. Good times, good times.

More like, most girls in the club are turned off by random guys who walk up behind them and start grinding on their fucking ass.

You have to be young as fuck to think that this is how you get success in the clubs. Do not walk up and grind on random girls, do not put your face near theirs as if you know them. You don't know them, the point is the get past all the get to know bullshit within 5 minutes.

Too bad your approach fucking sucks.

anyone with half a brain knows to not do that at a club....

i have success by merely locking eyes with a girl, staring at her for a few seconds, and she eventually comes to me.

We've seen these kind of tips like million time already!

I'll say it again, it's be 100x helpful if you tell us how to dance, you know that most of us doesn't know how to dance other than looking like fucking loser standing around bitching about "I don't wanna dance". Or at least help us how to dress properly.

There's so many little things that you can help.

Ok. I can help you there.

DRESS: Go to one of the following stores:

Armani(exchange)

CK

Banana Republic

Oakley

FCUK

Famous Stars and Straps

Most of these clothing companies sell stuff designed for the nightlife. You can also wear button-down shirts, assuming they are either dark or those striped abercrombie ones. First, pick out some jeans. Make sure they are kinda tight, and fit the form of your body well(no wigger stuff). Some holes would be nice, but don't overdo it.

Shirt time. Buy a shirt at one of the stores listed above, but remember no loose shit. TIGHT.

Shoes: The best shoes for this kind of thing are at places like Nordstrom rack. Get some Diesels(they run at about $50-60).

Hair: What kind of hair do you have? If its a ponytail, keep it that way. If you have shaggy stoner hair, ditto. For short hair, go buy some Got2b Glued, available at cvs or walgreens. It comes in a yellow tube, and allows you to do pretty much anything with hair. SPIKE THAT SHIT UP.

Oh yeah. SHAVE. Spray on some nice cologne on the way out.

HOW TO DANCE: #1 fuck hip-hop. It is probably the worst type of music in the world for white people to dance to. Find a club that plays mostly techno/dance/euro music. These beats are freakishly easy to feel, and you can dance to them naturally.

Wait for a faster song, and go out onto the floor pumped and looking like you're having fun. Dancing skill(as in the kind you're thinking about, you know, dance offs and shit)is irrelevant. There is no skill required in swinging your hips from side to side. Basically, when you dance with a girl, just do that, with the beat. Easy enough. But make sure you appear confident with girls, so always put your hands on their hips when dancing.

It looks like you guys wanted some clarification about how to approach people. My favorite way is to walk up to a small group of girls. Have 2-3 guys with you. If you are doing the talking, pick the hottest one and go up to her.ask her: "Are these your friends?"

she says: "Yeah"

You say: "thats cool. Well, these are my friends. Can we dance with you?"

should work

^This guy is a fucking moron. You do realize that most girls go to Hip-Hop clubs to FUCKING DANCE! Sorry to tell you this, but Hip-Hop is easy to dance to and on top of that a lot more fun than listening to fucking techno for 4 hours.

Please tell me how a girl is supposed to shake her ass and grind on your dick to techno? That shit to me is weird, and I love Hip-Hop, so if you can't determine the beat in a Hip-Hop song than you are a moron.

Oh and to casanova, man shut the fuck up. Just because you chose the name casanova it does not mean that shit happens. I know guys who could be models, and that shit doesn't happen to them. Casanova was great with women because he knew how to talk to them. Talking is what gets you places with women, not this bullshit "I stare at them and they come to me."

Clothing, hair, everything is just a way to get a girl to notice you so you CAN talk to her. If she ain't feeling you talking to her, doesn't matter how fucking well dressed you are.

I think you're absolutely correct in this post. Dressing well, smelling good, having good hair, and all of that are just ways to get a girl to notice you. They're prerequisites. Being attractive is only part of the battle.

If you can't talk to a girl, then most of the time you have no chance. If you can dance well to make up for poor talking skills then you can still get laid. Confidence is the key. Have a few drinks to loosen up, but don't be a slovenly mess. No one wants to be around those kind of people. Alcohol is a social lubricant, so use it, but don't overdo it.

Hip hop is ridiculously easy to dance to. Follow the bass. It's that easy. Half of the songs tell you how to dance to them anyway: lean wit it, rock wit it; snap yo fingers, do a step; get low, get low; let me see your shoulder lean. It's so easy to do that even illiterate people who speak in monosyllables like Lil' Jon can figure it out.

So, look good, have a few drinks, relax and feel confident, and just follow the bass. Don't expect sex; rather, go out to have a good time with a few friends, and if you get lucky, then it's even better. The main thing is to have fun, because if you're having fun then whether or not you get laid is irrelevant. Plus, you can talk with people much more easily if you aren't constantly thinking about sex, and if you aren't talking about it then the girl will work a little harder if she's interested. Get a few #s. Follow up on them. Just remember that you're going out to have fun. Once you can go out to have fun, getting #s and getting laid will come naturally because you're confident and you really don't care.

Yeah, you said it yourself, girls go to clubs to dance. That being said, it's not like it really takes effort to get girls to dance, seeing as how that's why they are there in the first place.

It's all about looks, nothing else at the club. You look good, girls will dance. Nobody goes to a club to meet girls and talk to them.

I see two problems with your argument.

1. Just because you happen to like a different type of music, that does not make me a moron just because you like it (you damn wigger).

2.Unfortunately, beleive it or not, there isn't much talking going on at a club. Just dancing. So all a girl has as a way to know you a little is the way you look/smell/feel. I'm sure you understand.

Now please, go listen to lil' jon(who btw after all these amazing years of making music still puts the phrase "yeaaaaaaaagh" in EVERY SONG. Original man
