I know that using antibiotics affects the ability of a contraceptive pill to do what it's supposed to.
I'm on Bactrim for an ear infection, if the name of it helps anything. And seven days to go until the grand finale of my menstural cycle.
How long will the antibiotic, after taking the final dose, take to leave my body? Will I be protected from pregnancy after I'm done mensturating?

wait a week after the last day of using it. that's how long it takes for it to start working again. and don't be suprised if you aren't quite as regular as you usually are.
