So I'm just going to get right to the point here. Late night phone calls (ok, 9-10 pm, whatever). Do these ever really come from someone's grandma, or is "why the fuck is my grandma calling me right now?" code for "that dumb slut! If she keeps calling while I'm with my paranoid, suspicious, conspiracy-theory loving overactive imagination girlfriend, I might be in trouble?" I'm sick and over-medicated and suspicious.

Crazy? Yeah. But the furnace just turned on and it sounded really weird, so I need totse to reassure me that there's one thing I'm not hallucinating.

Edit: And who the hell wouldn't pick up the phone from their GRANDMA?!!?! I mean, it's old people right? They go to sleep early. You'd think if grandma is calling you at 10:30 on a friday night, it might be something important?

Dude that's what I think! If one of my grandparents called me, I'd sure as hell listen. Even though 2 of them hate me, one has severe alzheimer's and is well on his way to dying (my favorite of the grandparents, I'm going to miss him tons ) and other grandma is... well other grandma is cool. None of them speak english though. Or have my phone number. Yeah.

Seriously though, I've been sitting here pondering, and there is absolutely no real reason to get a phone call from grandma way past her bedtime unless she's dead/dying. Sadcakes.

Edit: In case my current incoherent state has caused this topic to make you go "WTF?!?!" I'm talking about my boyfriend getting phone calls and claiming it's grandma. It is so NOT grandma...
