my girlfriend hates it when i buy things for her we get into arguments over it and i really dont see the big problem. She says its because she has no money to pay me back with but im not asking her to.

also its not like im spending 100's of $$ on her its jsut like whenever she needs a few dollars for something.



Do you buy things for your bf/gf? and do they react this way at all?

No, it's just one of the things that YOU do. You don't "provide" for the ones you love. You help them, but let them stand on their own feet.

Even when you're married with a stay-at-home wife she still makes sure to give back as much as she can.

Stop buying your girlfriend things at random, and start making up good reasons for it. Holidays were invented for people to get laid on.
