17 here and haven't kissed a girl yet. Well I met an awesome girl, and she asked me to her school dance and of course I'm going. Here's the thing, we've been talking, and she wants me to kiss her @ the dance. She's only had 1 previous serious bf and the furthest that this fucker got was 1st. I don't know why, but I don't wanna kiss her cause I'm gonna suck so bad. Can someone here give me some pointers/ do's and dont's......Like how are you supposed to start it?

Well if it's your first kiss it wontbe a full blown makeout session on the dance floor. Trust me for a first timer you wont want that.

Just dance with her and then when the moment feels right (you'll know) just lean in (60/40) and kiss. Don't open your mouth just push your lips onto hers gently and then hold it for a second or two. When you come back smile. And don't forget to look her in the eyes.

I think it would be funny if they did have a wild make out session on his first kiss. I myself am 16 and have never had a first kiss. It would be hilarious as shit if I had a hardcore make out session in front of everybody. I would suck so fucking bad. I'd be trembling, soaking in sweat so badly, that I'd get my old paranoia/social anxiety back for two weeks.

First of all, that 60/40 thing was mentioned in the movie Hitch. Except it was 90/10.

Anyways, I had my first kiss at 16. She was married, so it was kind of strange, but I kept asking her to kiss me, and eventually she did. I was just expecting a peck, but it was more like a makeout kind of thing....It was strange. She was my first for a lot of things, actually.

Kissing really isnt that hard. Everyone sucks the first time at sex, but as long as you're not too eager, you can rock a kiss the first time. Just be natural about it. There really arent any fancy moves that you need to know. If you're unsure, then just follow her lead.

If you do end up with full on pashing-sticking tongue down her throat - make sure its not sloppy and gross.. soft, and gentle.

One thing to note - sometimes girls pull you in, which can make you prone to fall on them, which looks a bit ungainly and spoils the moment. Be sure to have a foot forward, beside her.
