I've found that as I've gotten older I've been more comfortable making the first move with guys. I've also noticed many other females around my age doing the same. It's just a matter of the girls becoming comfortable with herself and her sexuality. It's a learning process. I don't know how old you are, but I'm guessing you're about the age of the average totsean (14-17)

Who really gives a shit? I used to be the quiet 'mysterious' guy to try to get laid and it got me nowhere. To do this when you're a guy requires you to be both very good looking and then to come across as an interesting, cool, and charming person (which not many people can pull off). When I was in and just out of HS many of my sisters friends made all sorts of indications - verbal & non-verbal - that they were very interested in me.

Yet I was oblivious to it. I would never even have known had it not been for my sister telling me after the fact.

I could never get her to tell me in time for me to do something about it.

Later I came to be able to see that there were indeed certain verbal and non verbal communication from the woman.

The problem was I was never quite sure just what the communication was/was saying can fully understand it].

So I lost out many an opportunity because I was too unsure to act.

Even at my 40's I still don't get the 'Code'. However, I changed my approach to it and that has made a big difference.

See even though I still am not sure what a woman is trying to indicate - if anything - instead of assuming that she was not indicating an interest and not pursuing her, I now assume that the woman does have an interest.

I have been wrong and end up with an awkward moment or two. But it's brief and is more than made up for by the fact that way more times than not, there has been an interest and so was well rewarded for pursuing her...

I did ask some guys out, but usually they asked first. I must have given out fairly clear signals.

If your friends with her chick friends then try to get them to put in a good word for you(never use other guys to get to girls you wanna date). Make sexual jokes, not nasty stuff though, it's hard to explain but if a chick flirts back sexually then that means your good, even if it's not positive response then you could still be good, it all depends on the situation. But if she acts severly negative to your sexual joke that either means your joke is to sexual or shes a prude christian bitch who you don't wanna date anyway.

The times that you fail the best thing to do is move on as fast as you can. Never be sad if a chick turns you down, its gonna happen multiple times get used to it. Always look confident especially when you don't feel confident because thats usally when you should be the most confident. Never just have one chick as possibly dateable, the more the better. Never go after the chick you been wanting a long time. I'll tell you my situation so you get where I'm coming from. I'm shy I have a hard time asking a chick out, talking with them I'm fine though. I have only had 3 girlfriends over the past 2 years, most of the time I wasn't dateing. I have a girlfriend now which is going great. I went through maybe 10 chicks before I got to this one mostly by useing what I wrote. I went for one and if that didn't work out I would giveup and go after another. I will say though most of those if I asked out would have said yes but I had a couple of problems back then. As for my looks I know I'm good looking, not because I think so but I've been told a lot, but what I think is that you really can't judge how good you think yourself looks. Hmmmm... when I had long hair girls used to hit on me all the time- so girls do hit on guys.
