Given my situation, it's hard for me to meet new people, and even harder for me to hang out with them on a regular basis.

I go to parties once in a while(about the only thing I ever leave the house for other than work), and it's all the same crowd of about 10-20 party people, since Im in kind of a small town.

There is only 1 youth hangout spot that is this coffee shop/venue thing, and only a small fraction of the people go there('scene' people). I was in town one time a couple months ago and I decided to go by the highschool to say hi to people and I got arrested. I quit highschool freshmen year to do homeschool, and the people that were in my class are still in junior year.

So where the fuck does that leave me as far as having a consistant social life? Myspace or something(lawl)?

get a typical teenager job. like a target or a grocery store. youll meet lots of people, and the turnover rate is usually high so there will be new people to talk to and new girls to hook up with all the time.

Beh, I think Im going to go up the hills to snowboard more often once I get a car. Thats about all there is to do around here in the winter, besides getting fucked up and working/school.

What I usually do for fun right now is practice guitar and design stuff. That is one good thing about living in BFE, because the neighbors aren't close enough to hear/complain about it. I guess I could hunt down people to jam with.

Yeah, shows are cool. I like shows. My mom works at the gym, so I go there often. Is beer pong a social hobby?

interesting question... I think about that too.

You could go to bars. But the music in bars is sometimes too loud, and so you can't really talk much. Also, there are a lot of posers and sex-fiends in bars -- not the best place to meet people.

The best advice would probably be to get involved in an activity/hobby you enjoy.

You'd meet the people that were also participating.

If you're after women, try joining a yoga class.

Im pretty athletic already. Up until about a month ago I was running 3-4 miles a day, and Im still working out doing pullups and stuff. I go to the gym a couple times a week, and it's usually empty. At max theres maybe 3-5 other people there, at least when I go.

Meh, maybe Im just finding reasons not to be around people, because Im not very socialable.

This is the complainful version of my story. I just took care of the boredom by learning martial arts, not exactly a good place to meet girls if thats what your after but brawling is a good substitute.
