My GF and I are exploring this birth control method, just till im 18, then i get my Vasectomy. The thing is, i HATE fucking a piece of plastic, do female condoms change any of the feeling?

you know, a lot of things have risks. that doesn't mean those risks or side effects will apply to all people. also, the pill is a lot more effective as a birth control method than female condoms. having a baby at 17? hmm...can someone say "not healthy"?

As far as one of the most effective, I've heard that an IUD is one of the safest, cleanest, and least dangerous of all female birth control devices.

Especially after it was redesigned.

edit: Oh, and don't get snipped when you turn 18. Just because you don't want a kid now, doesn't mean you won't someday. The more time that elapses after the surgery, the less reversible things get. By the time you turn 30 and realize you made a horrible mistake for some girlfriend you haven't seen in years, it'll be too late.

Don't get a Vasectomy until you've had kids. You might now want them now but you might want them later or even worse your woman might want them.

i really doubt any surgeon would perform a vesectomy on an 18 year old unless they had downs syndroms or something similar.

as you are a male, i wouldnt worry about getting pregnant, men can get pregnant silly. just TELL your girlfriend to get on the pill. she might be allergic to one oof them, but there are over 50 different types and i doubt she as tried them all.
