I heard that wallets aren't the best place to keep condoms for some reason... Is there any truth to this?

If so, then where would one carry it??

Just loosely in the pocket seems kinda wierd. I could just see some awkward moments when you go to pull out your cell phone and a condom flies out onto the table or something...

i think it's bad if you keep them there for weeks on end, and your wallet is in your back pocket all the time. if you just want to put it in there and use it that afternoon, go for it. do you have any jackets with zip pockets? that would contain them.

As far as wallets go, I've got two in mine that I had to replace recently, but when I used the other two, which had been in there for a few months, they where still as good as ever. But though, I also don't sit on my wallet, or crush it at all, really. It stays in my jacket's inside pocket.

That's how I see this issue, anyways. And always carry two, ya hear me?

I don't really think anyone in their right mind (read: A man) would want to carry a condom around alone like that.

Really now, though, it's not that bad of an idea. But though, it's just not acceptable.

I guess it's not that likely to occur, but it could just fall out at an inopportune moment...

I guess a zippered jacket pocket works, but what about in the summer or on a hot day or whatever?

Just because you never get laid, doesn't mean other people don't.

Besides, better safe than sorry.

a condom fits perfectly in an old gameboy game case. you can easily fit 2 in there. that'll protect them, and add more weight so they won't fall out of your pocket. you can spray paint the case black to hide them a bit if it does fall out. this is a good way to keep them in a backpack or car or something.

That is actually a pretty cool idea...

If you leave them in your wallet for too long the friction/heat of sitting on them and stuff makes the condoms more likely to tear, and less lubey.

Glove box?

Backpack?

Jacket?

Only wallet if you know you will use it in the next day or two.

Well now, you did ask about what COULD happen... And really, I like a girl that has her own on hand... Usually she buys the really expensive ones that are so thin it's like you don't have one on.

No kidding, I never though of that. But now it sounds ingenius.

The foil-like rapper that trojan condoms are in tend to tear in a wallet. A jacket pocket that you don't constantly take things in and out of works.

I concur with just keeping them in the car....or you can put it in you back pocket if you've got plans.....I'd put it in the un-wallet back pocket personally, that way you can ONLY pull out the condom on purpose.

Wow, I always had condoms at my house... And some in my purse when I was dating someone. Is it weird for girls to carry around condoms
