Yesterday I kinda got close to a girl, nothing happened, we were just lying on a bed talking, nothing happened.

And she has a boyfriend, who thought that something did happen between us, but the thing is she doesn't really like him anyway and is going to dump him, so would it still be cheating if something did happen?

Well obviously it is still cheating, but as she was going to dump him anyway that night, does that make it any better?

You did the right thing, not hooking up with her, but it isnt that hard for her to make a phonecall to break up with him. So dont expect to go out with her for a while, as she is still emotionally torn between the two of you. If she does break up with him, then wait a week before you try anything, so that way the ex-boyfriend doesnt think that she dumped him for you. Good luck with everything

It's never cheating when you're in a different area code, not to mention a different state. Let's say that you were sleeping with two girls at the same time, it- it wouldn't be cheating because they would cancel each other out. Or if, uh, you're too wasted to remember- it is not cheating. Because if you can't really remember it, it never really took place. It's not cheating if you spread peanut butter on your balls and let your dog lick it off. If she's going to break up with him it's still bad in the whole sense of lying. He probably still likes her as well, or enough to be hurt, just because she won't feel anything doesn't mean he won't.

Anything you do with some one who isn't your SO, that you lie about because you know it would anger them is a form of cheating.

Anything remotely sexual done with some one other than your SO is cheating.

Do with other people what you'd want your SO to do with other people.

If you're both swingers, then fucking other people obviously wont be a problem. But if you're both insanely jealous, even going to a movie with some one else is trouble.

cheating is cheating is cheating. there's physical cheating. there's emotional cheating, which some people call bullshit on and some people consider to be more harmful than physical cheating.

if you have to ask if it's cheating, then obviously part of you thinks it is or else you wouldn't be concerned at all. it doesn't really make it any better if she was going to dump him, but then again you say you didn't technically do anything, so it's not like he can freak on her for sexing up someone else. however, if they're in a serious relationship, it's just as hurtful to know that your boyfriend/girlfriend is lying in bed with someone else and wanting to break up with you.

i'd stay out of it until they're really over, because she could just be fucking with your mind. both of you.
