Well, this relates to my gf
Sorry to bother anyone who doesent care....but today was just fucking horrible. Last night, my mom got very pissed off at me, because i had caught her and her bf cybering. When she found out i knew, she hit me really fucking hard on the back. And then she started bitching to me about how she hated he and stuff. So, she drove me over to my dads. He fucking yelled at me for two hours...probally because he was drunk as hell. I woke up in the morning, and had to go to school. I went to school, but when i got home, my dad was waiting for me. He took me back to his apartment...he said that now i am going to have to live in a 1 bedroom apartment with him. I am not going to be able to see my family for christmas. And on top of that, im getting nothing.
Merry Christmas.

Re: Well, this relates to my gf
It may be hard, but it sounds like they don't respect you at all. and perhaps the only way to show them that you're worthy is to stop putting up with their shit. just say "fuck you guys, i'm out until you can treat me like you should." and just go get a hotel room, or stay at a friend's house for a week or so. they're attitude will change pretty damn quick, regardless of how horrible it is now.

Re: Well, this relates to my gf
Who will almost always side with a child, if the child claims he's being abused (physically, or in your case psychologically). Don't make excuses for why you're stuck where you are, or you're going to continue to be stuck there. step up, take some sort of action.

Re: Well, this relates to my gf
and secondly, if he accuses his parents of abuse its likely the last time hell ever speak to them, never again will they get on civilly. My advice, play the long game, get a good education, then college, then moeny and then rub it in there faces. helicoptering them might also make you feel better.

I could care less if my mom never speaks to me again, but my dad really cares for me.

Re: Well, this relates to my gf
Well, then perhaps bending your efforts on trying to get him to understand the situation from your point of view would be a good idea. perhaps you could work something out with him.

Just do what the other guy said, leave for a couple weeks or so and they'll realize you deserve more respect than they're giving.

What about next of kin like Aunties + Uncles, Cousins? Tell them and maybe you can stay with them for a while.

Dude, as most have suggested: Leech them out with the proper education, etc... Once you're graduated and ready to leave, say good-bye and molotov that bitches house.
Oh,and don't forget to get into martial arts, so she stops hitting you around.

Re: Well, this relates to my gf
DSS tends to err on the side of caution when dealing with child abuse cases, remeber that. It would look very bad if a case worker judged your parents to be fit to care for you, and then, god forbid, you ended up in a ditch. If there is doubt, they will send you to a foster home.
Also, video tape, audio, and writen statements go farther in court than mere testimony. Write down everything that happens to you that could be considered abuse, as soon as possible after it occurs, and mail it to yourself/a friend. Do not open the mail, that won't do you any good. Mailing written statements serves as a crude form of notarizing them, which will help your cause should you need to go to court.
As for your parents, I'm sorry they suck so much. I would suggest leaving. If they care enough about you to report you to the police, then you likely have them over a barrel in a child abuse case. Your mother's occupation serves to potentially hurt her as much as it does to aid her. She can be disbarred for lying in deposition, or doing anything else unethical. On a side note, however, lawyers generally only get disbarred for lying, cheating, things that undermine integrity. Child abuse alone may not fly, unfortunately. If you go to the police, try to get them to get her to give a written deposition before you present them with any hard evidence you have.
Deferance to fact finding will be given to a judge, not her, so if you can show a contradiction between her testimony and the judge's ruling as to what happened, write the state Bar Association and tell them about it. It would help to include that she is a child abuser. That stigma will make an impression on anyone. Being disbarred is a very serious thing, the salary gap from lawyer to paralegal is significant
Anyways, I suggest leaving. I had a friend in highschool that stole his mothers car at fifteen, drove across state lines without a liscence, and was arrested in possesion of drugs. didn't even get probation and had his folks over a barrel for the rest of his juvenille years. Be creative, you'll pull through.
