Well, for those who don't know: I'm 5'6 and male; my girlfriend is 5'5. Being short doesn't get in the way at all; in fact, when relationships are concerned, I believe that being a similar height is more important. If I were 6'0 and my gf was 5'0 I think I'd feel a little awkward.

Still, I guess it's how you're built, too. I mean, she could be a fat-lass and you could be a skinny fucker - then you might be equally matched.
