Hmmm, why don't you talk to your friends about it, see where they stand? Doesn't need to be a serious sit-down, just say you like this girl a lot and are thinking of asking her out. They will inevitably ask who it is, with which you reply honestly. If they jump on you and try to strangle you, drop the subject. Otherwise, try to get them to at least tentatively approve the idea before you go for it. At the very least, they will be glad you showed them the respect of talking to them first.

My cousin is going out with his best friends sister, hes one of my best friends too. They all get through it. It's actually pretty damn cool. All depends on the relationships though.
