Default I think I lost a friend...

I just need to vent mainly.

Well, he's not a real life friend. It's a kid I met off of totse and we've been friends for a while. He's intelligent, funny, and just all around a good guy.

Well, he has some problems with his family life. I won't go into details but it's pretty bad for him. He's some what of a druggie and he's being sent to rehab for pot! How ridiculous. He's convinced his life is going no where and he's extremely depressed. He has no social skills, therefore he finds it impossible for him to get a job and he doesn't have many friends. According to him, his parents actually don't allow it.

Well long story short, tonight he was planning on overdosing on drugs. He was invited to a party which supplied lots of narcotics. Chris told me he was planning on going and what he wanted to do there. I talked him out of it once, I guess once isn't enough.

I'm not sure if I'm overreacting but the party was last night and he wasn't online all day today or yesterday. I know he was serious about what he said too.

I know it's not my fault but I do feel that I should take some of the blame. Perhaps if I would have said one more inspirational thing it could have turned him around and changed his mind permanently. I wish I could tell him I loved him and hug him and say everything is going to be alright. It's just not fair what some people have to go through.

None of us, including myself, are thankful enough for what we've got. I've got a roof over my head, plenty of food and water, and a loving family along with other people that care about me. I've got it made. There's kids like him everywhere and I really can't do much about it.

I feel so horrible. I think I want to throw up. This sucks.

He sounds exactly like me! I hope he didn't overdose. The world needs more Ferrets.

there is nothing you could have done to change him....if he needed to change he had to change himself.

DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF FOR HIS CHOICES.

Hopefully, he's fine. If not, you have my condolences on losing someone, for the little they're worth.

He's probably just ashamed and will be back soon.

People underestimate the effects regular marijuana use has on your mentality. If I hadn't stopped, I would still claim that the chronic depression and mood swings I experienced during my teenage years were nothing to do with my heavy, regular toking.

nb. I smoke weed now, but because I notice the down points and side effects, it's not very often.
