there is a girl i like, shes cute, kind of a weirdo, she was a nerd until last summer but she started comming out more and thats when i knoticed her.

just gonna get to the point (we are 17 btw).

And we had like 4 dates.

today, after school, she gave me a ride to work on her way home. As I got off, i kissed her on the cheek because she looked just too cut. Later tonight though, when i got off, she came to see me and before i said anything, she said "you and I lets just be friends."

we left it at that cuz i was too tired, and she was on her way somewhere.

She just called me though, tells me that im like her favorite person. And she thought we were "together" for a while, but now she just dont want to be. we were hella good friends b4 started dating.

I tell her i'd feel better if she told me why she didnt want to go steady with me. but she says "i just dont know , plz dont hate me"

I ask her "is there someone else?"

She says no, and i know this is true.

We had such good times together, I can not figur out why she didn't feel attacted to me as i was to her.

Why is this. I know there doesnt have to be a reason, but id feel much better if I knew.

when chicks don't give a reason, in my experience it's either;

a) stupid, and they are embarrased by it.

b) mean, you have a huge personality and/or physical flaw

c) hurtfull, they have found someone else or want to

so its pick and mix as you like. if you can't tell what the deal is, there is no hope for us to be able to guess.

damnit! im too confused to be depressed..

Just let it go, four dates isn't that serious of a thing. Chances are that she sees you as a friend, as a different sort of figure in her life than boyfriend.

It's a girl thing; I like to think a young girl thing, but it doesn't matter. Many believe that if you get offended, you're going to hate her forever.

4 dates isn't a relationship. Maybe a trial. but if you just want closure, sit her down in private and talk to her.
