Default hmm.. help? vaseline? bad?

So I'm in a bit of a pickle. This morning my girlfriend used vaseline as a lubricant when she was giving me a handjob and then we wanted to have sex and we pondered whether or not it would be healthy to have sex with vaseline on my penis. We dismissed any fear we had and went ahead and did it. Well... I search the internet afterwards and it looks like we made a mistake. I'm getting ready to call her and let her know that she needs to clean up really well... but I was wondering if anyone knew what she could do to avoid an infection or something of the sort. Also, what exactly the risk is of her getting an infection.

Hmm..

Alright, thanks.

The real danger when using vaseline isn't infection (never heard of that happening) but of it 'eating' the condom. Petroleum jelly dissolves the latex.

ps. back in the day it was used by homosexuals for anal lube so i doubt it is harmful.

I'd be more worried of her getting pregnant.

Why's that?

Because, as Jack said, condoms and vaseline is bad.

And if you didnt use a condom, unprotected sex is bad.

Unless shes on some other form of birth control.

We weren't using a condom, actually. I have low sperm count, rarely precum, and always pull out.

I just read that vaseline can coat the vagina and stay there and lead to infection. It's on all these health sites.

And your sperm is carcinogenic and will eventually lead to her getting cervical cancer.

Don't sweat it. Assuming she practices normal hygiene , I doubt she'll have any problem.

One time, after a little late night excursion on the beach, my girlfriend started complaining about it hurting down there, due to all the sand that was about.

Theres a product called Uristat, which supposedly helps flush out anything in her tracts. It worked in her case anyways. It might be a little different with vasoline.

Hmm.. She's taking a shower right now and cleaning up what she can... I just want to be able to tell her to do something that will definitely help reduce the risk of something like that.

It just takes ONE little spermy to make a little baby...

Seriously though, vaseline is fine as a lubricant as far as I've used it. Anal and vaginal sex work well with it. So really, you should just invest on getting her (or yourself, for that matter) on REAL birth control.

"Pulling out" Wont do shit.. Do you REALLY want to risk the chance of getting her pregnant???

Like Gus said, It just makes one little spermy and you are fucked. The pill really isnt very expensive you should look at your options if you dont want to use a condom.
