Default Friend acting funny

So as you may or may not know, I moved back home recently. As soon as I came back, one of my old friends started coming over to hang out and whatever. That's all fine and dandy. But then he started acting really strange.

I kind of saw it one day when we went to the bar to hang out with a couple friends. He kept rolling his eyes and acting all irritated for no reason. I tried talking to my psuedo-sister (brother's longtime girlfriend turned ex recently) and he kept saying stupid shit about being ignored.

After the bar, we went over to my cousin's house to hang out with them for a bit and he was acting the same way.

He took off three days of work this week and just showed up while I was moving and all that. I don't really mind that except it is kind of difficult to actually move when you feel like you have to entertain a guest. He did help me move some of the bigger stuff, which was nice.

So anyway, on Friday he showed up and wanted me to go over to his cousin's house, but I already had plans. So later that night he called me and asked if I wanted to go to some club with his cousin/cousin's wife and him. I mistakenly told him I was free, but I had made plans with my parents about a week before to go to a christmas party, so I ended up calling him up and telling him about it.

From there on he just kept saying stupid shit like 'whatever. whatever.' and getting all... like a clingy girlfriend really.

Now, I've known him since we were little kids, but we haven't really been close friends for about 8 years kind of by his own doing. He had a kid about a year ago from a girl he knew for like a month, and now they're not together. He does get his kid every week, but he doesn't really seem to stay with it or anything. Seems like maybe he just wants to stay a child forever himself.

So yeah, I really don't want to just tell him to grow up because I think he would be even worse about it, but I really can't handle having him act like that. Seriously, I really can't be bothered with babysitting someone now when I've got so many things going on.

Ugh.

This is kind of more of a rant than anything.

He's not depressed about that girl, he didn't really want her anyway and he finds her quite annoying. He kind of burned some bridges years ago and now maybe he is paying for it, but I can't just sit there and be there for him every day. I do have a life, surprisingly.

About the plans, they weren't set. It was like 'yeah maybe.' He knows I don't go to clubs, so there shouldn't have been any question about it. Besides that, he was still over his cousin's house so it's not as if I was his last hope for the night.

It just seems so juvenile.
